Stop Drop and Roll

Do you know what to do if there is a fire and you are in a room filled with smoke?  Firemen teach us to drop to our knees because that is the safest place to be.  If we stand up we cannot see because of the smoke and it is very hot.  If we drop to our knees there is good air and it is cooler.

God teaches us the same thing.  When life gets tough and dangerous the Bible teaches us to drop to our knees and pray.  That is the safest place to be. If we stand and try to do things on our own it doesn’t work, but when we drop to our knees and pray we find that God takes care of us.

That is what Daniel did three times a day and God took care of Daniel.
