Gliders

Let me show you what I brought today.  These are gliders. I haven’t seen these in a long time. We used to play with them all the time when I was your age.  Now, these come four to a pack. The gliders are in here and the instructions are on the back.  I don’t need the instructions, I know how to put these together.

Let’s see. Is this right?  Maybe we should look at the instructions. Let’s try this again.  It makes a big difference when we read the instructions first.

Did you know that God gave us instructions?  But a lot of us don’t use them.  That’s right, God’s instructions on how to live are in the Bible. But some of us do the same thing that I did with plane instructions. We throw them off to the side and don’t think we need them.

God wants us to read his instructions every day so that we can be put together the way he wants us to.
