Introduction: Before we can answer the question “How do I study my Bible?” we must first answer the question “Who can study the Bible?” Bible study is not for everyone.
A person who is going to study the Word of God must be saved
A person who is going to study the Word of God must be diligent
A person who is going to study the Word of God must be diligent.
A person who is going to study the Word of God must deal with his own sin
A person who is going to study the Bible must be submissive to the Spirit of God
Only when we are doing these things can we come to the Word of God and understand.
The unsaved cannot know the Word of God.
In the Hebrew/Jewish understanding of the to “to know” “to know” means action must take place.
In other words, in order to truly know the Bible you must act upon the truths of the Bible.

Introduction: In order to have a walk with God, you must spend time in God’s Word.
When talking of God’s Word says it is righteous, it is true, it is sure, it is worthy of hope and trust, it is worthy of faith, it is an expression of God’s steadfast love and faithfulness.
The Word of God is also a light to guide the path of the believer and without it we walk in darkness.
So we had better learn to read it and to understand what it communicates.
