MOTHER’S DAY

The nearest thing we have to Christ’s love for us is the love our mother has for us.
For she knows us as no one else ever will.
She sees our strengths and weaknesses.
Like Jesus she loves us understandingly, forgivingly, sacrificially.
There is another way Christ loves us and that is hopefully.
A love that wishes our highest good.

1.
She told us one by one that her prayer for each one of us was that we would always follow God’s way.
She prayed rather than lose our souls God would take us to himself.

2.
She also told us that if ever we were in trouble no matter what it was we could always come to her, she would always understand, forgive and help us.
3.
She worked so hard for us that eventually her health broke down.
4.
She had great hopes for all of us.
I know she prayed constantly for each and every one of us and I am sure she still does.
