Exodus 14:1–18 NLT
Then the LORD gave these instructions to Moses: “Order the Israelites to turn back and camp by Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and the sea.
Camp there along the shore, across from Baal-zephon.
Then Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are confused.
They are trapped in the wilderness!’
And once again I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after you.
I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army.
After this the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD!”
So the Israelites camped there as they were told.

Miss an opportunity
Medical situation
We react too quickly and doubt that God is in the situation setting it up for something good

In both cases it took faith to trust that it was going to make sense
In both cases God had a plan
God’s Plan for Israel was to put them in a situation where they could not win without God intervening
So you and I would learn what God is capable of doing

God wanted to show them and US that when there is no human possibilities....There are God possibilities
The bible has shown that when we humans get to the end of our ability
We usually loose faith
The Israelites did just that
A vital secret to walking in God’s plan
JUST STAY CALM
Be still and know that I am God
They had ZERO faith…
They would rather stay with the devil they know
Than a God they do not trust or believe
How many times have we stayed with what we knew / comfortable with
Instead of stepping out into risk, growth and the unknown
Many would rather stay a slave to fear, doubt and mediocrity
Than take a chance on trying something new
Moving out of a terrible relationship and situation
Or believing life could be better or different
