Text: Phil. 1:21-30
Thesis: To stress that we are to conduct our lives in a manner that is consistent with our
true citizenship.
Introduction:
- As Paul sat in a Roman prison awaiting his hearing, he reflected on what was truly important (i.e., one’s faith and a home in Heaven).
Discussion:
I. First, Paul discusses his inner conflict between life and death (vv. 21-26).
II. Second, Paul encourages the Philippians to maintain conduct worthy of the gospel (vv. 27-30).
