Matthew 16:18

“…I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

I have three expectations for you tonight that

I pray you will remember and take with you

for the future.

I.          THAT EACH OF YOU POSSESS A BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW.

            A. You are not your own.

1 Cor.6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your  spirit, which are God’s.”

1 Cor.7:23 “Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.”

            B. You can make a difference.

            C. You will be on the front lines.

Phil. 1:21 “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

II.        THAT YOU BECOME AN ACTIVIST AND NOT A PACIFIST FOR CHRIST.

“…The gates of hell shall not prevail…”

This is not a time for Christians to hide their heads in the sand.

Let me say this. I’m not speaking about politics!

We may very well be on the verge of loosing our right to free speech, through proposed hate crimes legislation.

Does your freedom to speak and preach the gospel come from government or God?

            A. Using the talents and gifts God has given you for the Kingdom.

            B. Seeing the need and duty to the local N.T. Church.

            C. Maintaining your personality as an individual, but using it for an advantage.
