People love fire.

Have you ever noticed how people come running when they hear a fire truck’s siren?

Fire is amazing.

When I go camping one of my favorite things to do is sit around the campfire and just stare into the fire.

Lu 12:49

"I have come to bring fire to the earth, and I wish that my task were already completed!

Mt 3:11

"I baptize with water those who turn from their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is far greater than I am – so much greater that I am not even worthy to be his slave. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”

“For our God is a consuming fire.”

You can use your tongue to start a fire in your school, in your work, and in this city.  Use the words of your mouth to start a fire that will burn bright and cause people to come and see what is burning at Kingdom Youth Church.

So also, the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do. A tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.

And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is full of wickedness that can ruin your whole life. It can turn the entire course of your life into a blazing flame of destruction, for it is set on fire by hell itself.
