Do what you can

The beach was full of star fish thousand and thousands had been washed up on the beach as far as the eye could see. They were stranded unable to move and would die. On the beach there was one single lone figure on the beach. A little boy was picking up as many as he could carry, going to the waters edge and throwing them in.

The man who was watching all this said what are you doing. Look at all the thousands of star fish on the beach. What you are doing is a waste of time .What you are doing will make no difference .The little boy smiled picked up a star fish walked to the waters and threw it back in. He turned to the man and said I bet that made a difference to that star fish.
