Eleven of Romans is one of my favorite (really all are)…
Paul’s message in chapter 9 thru 11 has been about the “Vindication of God’s righteousness & Israel’s future restoration.”
Paul lived in time…Israel nothing, nobody…they scattered all over world…
But Paul knew God had not forsaken His promises to Israel.
Only way to get blessing from this chapter is study it verse by verse.

FOCUS IS ON ELECTION…v.1-6                                                                                                                         *   *V.1..*No!...used term “God forbid”..then Paul uses himself to show that God is not thru with His people.
* V.2..*word “foreknew” means “foreordain, predestinate”…remember promise to Abraham…

* V.5…*”election” means the “act of choosing or picking out”…Paul was one of those chosen.

*V.7-8..*Israel did find what they looking for; only the elect; they blinded to grace of God…

             Israel of old in world today is not out of God’s program or promises…God has been in pursuit of His own…

             Paul gives a warning here of the severity of God’s punishment…goodness of His grace.
At some point in time, somehow, God is going to restore the nation of Israel…

FOCUS **NOW** ON THE **MYST**ERY…v.25-32*
* *The mystery Paul says, is that Israel has been blind to the work of God in dealing with them and the nations.
This blindness will continue until the “fullness of the Gentiles” ends…(2500 years ?)

Not the individual.
This is also a quote from Jeremiah…*V.27…*covenant,
promise to them.(church)
*V.28…*they were enemies of Lord when He walked earth…but God had chosen them long before.

 *V.30-32…*Paul points out again that there unbelief was to our good but they will one day believe.

FOCUS **NOW** ON **PAUL**’S CONCLUSION: HIS DOXOLOGY…v.
