Victory
Open your Bibles to first John chapter 5 beginning with verse four and five
1 John 5:4-5 (NKJV)
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
The victory is ours
Victory was bought for us when Jesus Christ rose from the dead
He defeated our greatest enemy Satan
He removed her greatest fear but fear of death and eternal separation from God
He conquered the greatest enemy of all death itself
in defeating death, and in a hell and the grave
He gave us eternal victory
When we realize that ---
it translates into daily victory concerning everything that concerns us
everywhere we go
everywhere a we live
and he and his whatever were concerned with
if he conquered that which was greatest against us
the greatest foe
the greatest adversary
the greatest enemy
if he conquered it and gave us the victory
then all this other stuff is only peanuts
compared to what is already done
we need the revelation of walking in victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil to get inside of us
say it with me
I'm going to receive the revelation of Christ's victory
that He gave to me
this victory is wrapped up in our salvation
in the forgiveness of our sins
you ask ---well what does this mean to me?
--it means if you're battling depression could have victory over it
--if you're battling disease you could have victory over it
--if you're battling an issue in your home or family or job of strife you
can have victory over it
this is a just a theological truth that we put on the shelf
and only pull out randomly when we come into a church service
I'm talking about what you're facing paying your bills--- there's victory
the negotiation you have been in a job situation--- there’s victory
when you are in a position of stress or maybe legal entanglements
there is victory for you
What's going on inside of your being
battling things in your own self ---- there is victory for you
.
victory means you win you overcome
it means in God's definition we fulfill His plan totally
that we do is called us to do
Now -- let's lay the foundation
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
whatever is born of God overcomes the world
how many of you are born again by the blood of Jesus Christ?
whatever is born of God overcomes the world
So insert your name
___________ I am a world overcomer because I have been born of God
when I was born again --- I was born to win
GLORY
say ------ you're not a born-again loser
God didn't birth any losers
When Christ gave you eternal life
He imparted the spirit of victory inside of you
It is the nature and the essence of God himself
He is triumphant
He is all-mighty God
He’s never lost
and He lives on the inside of us
we’re His children
we’re heirs of God
and we’re joint heirs of Jesus Christ
whatever he inherited we have also inherited
I'm a born-again winner
Identity
Idenity is everything
We’re talking about who you identify with
in your life
in your thinking
who do you see yourself as
what someone labels you as--as a child
what was in your family tree
what the world categorizes you as
what in your own thinking you have called yourself
So often when bad things happen
people throw labels on themselves
or other people label them as failures
just because you have an incident or problem
---- it does not change your nature
Identify with who God made you to be
When you are born of God -----
you changed natures
you changed parents
you changed families
you changed family trees
you changed heritages
you changed inheritances
Victory Realized
1 John 5:4b
And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
So where is the victory ---------------- it's in your faith
if you of little faith ------- then you have little victory
if you have no faith------- then you have no victory
if you have great faith ---- then you have great victory
great faith means great victory
Faith is what connects us with all God has done
The spirit of faith is---
I believe and therefore I speak
Faith without works is dead
Faith Works by love
Let's put that all together
Faith involves believing, speaking, and doing
Faith means --
That we believe what God says
that we say what God says
that we do what God says
out of the motive of love for him and love for others
Our faith in what God has spoken is the victory that overcomes the world
that's what the Word of God is so important
it's your most important document
this is your Emancipation Proclamation document
this is the constitution ---- on which we stand
Isaiah says “the government is upon his shoulders”
And the Word of God is the Constitution
The rules of order of the Kingdom
we are citizens of his kingdom
we are ambassadors in that kingdom
We live TODAY in that kingdom!
You have to understand that kingdom and how to operate it
the Constitution is in the Scriptures
it is the truth of what God says that is revealed in the word
it is the order of our living
So when you read it the Word, and speak the word, and meditate on it, and do it, the level of your faith increases
If you want to increase the level of your faith,
then increase the level of the word in your life
Increase your level of reading
increase your level of speaking
increase your level of meditating on
increase your level of doing
and you will increase your level of faith
It is time to raise your Word level
Get into personal Bible school

You need an ordered discipline plan that is going to raise your word level
Your victory level is connected to your faith level
and your faith level is connected to your word level
Victory WHO?
1 John 5:5 (NKJV)
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Every believer is a world overcomer
I want to awaken the victory giant that is on the inside of you
the conqueror that lives within you
John asked the question----
“who is he that overcomes the world?”
The answer
He who believes that Jesus is the son of God
That's being born-again
every born-again believer has resident victory inside of your life
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory --
Through who?
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We're not talking about you winning apart from God
We’re talking about the victory that is in Christ
by Him-- through Him-- for Him-- and onto Him
He gets all the glory
and whatever you do
whatever area you conquer
whatever area triumph in
whatever area you succeed in
you’re able to point and say
It's Jesus that causes me to win
It's He that gave me the victory
2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)
Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ,
Say ----He always causes me to triumph
so how often is always
always still always
does that include Monday morning
how about when you're tired
Are we going to always triumph?
He always causes us to triumph and
He makes manifest or reveals the savor of his knowledge through us everywhere we go
In other words
God wants to demonstrate his glory in victory through our lives
He wants to make it manifest --- or to reveal
He is literally going to make you his billboard in the Earth
you are God's greatest advertising
people look at the Sunset and say wow – isn’t that great---
but when they look at your life transformed victorious
and you're then able to speak out
and tell them it's God that did this
you are living witness for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ
Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
this is speaking about believers who love God even more than life itself
who are surrendered totally
they overcame the enemy the Devil by the blood of the Lamb
in order for us to overcome the Devil ---
and as it says in verse 10 that he is the accuser of the brother and he accuses them day and night
he doesn't stop his accusations
The only way for us to overcome is that we go back to the blood of Jesus
We remember again the blood of Jesus
but even when were not taking communion
we need to remember the power of the blood of Jesus in our lives
where ever you are----- you can remember the blood of Jesus
it is the blood that cleanses us from our sins
it is the blood that purchased us out of sin and Satan's authority
it is the blood that stands against him so that no weapon formed against you can prosper
there's power in the blood
there is a bloodline that is drawn between you and Satan and he cannot cross it
We need to declare the blood of Jesus
This simply means to say---
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my home
Begin to do that right now ---
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my home
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my family
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my job
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my situation
I declare the power of the blood of Jesus over my church
You need to declare the power of the blood
Lord Jesus I thank you for the power of the blood because it forgives my sins--- it causes us to be delivered from all of Satan's authority
Lord we thank you that by your blood you have protected us from every assault every assignment ---every curse and attack of the enemy
he cannot cross the bloodline
by the blood of Jesus we are legally freed from Satan's dominion
when Jesus gave his blood of the cross
he legally paid for sins
he brought us out of the place of the curse of bondage to sin and darkness where Satan rules
so now when Satan tries to put on you what he used to put on you in the darkness
we need to declare the power of the blood
that those things must stay away from us
there's power in the blood
there's power in the blood
Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony,
Now you must speak testify you must speak the Word
The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever
let the redeemed of the Lord say so
OK what did he say we are to say
The Lord is good at is mercy endures forever
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
we should declare his goodness all the time
Lord your good--your mercy endures forever
Joel says ---
“let the weak say I am strong”
that doesn't mean going around and saying ----
I am the weak saying I guess I'm strong
it means just simply saying I am strong in Christ
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Jesus gave us an example three times in Matthew chapter 4
He said to the devil--- it is written-- it is written-- it is written
The Word of God is a sword according to Ephesians 6 in the armor
there's one offensive weapon
That happens to be the Word of God in your mouth
If your are going to walk in victory
you have kept the word on your lips
declaring what God says
when you say what God says –
when you say to the devil I’m ----
“forgiven given by the blood of Jesus Christ”
It is the same as if the Lord Jesus is speaking it right into Satan
I want you to think about that moment
if you've been born-again and your spirit is alive in Him
and His spirit is on the inside of you
if you been washed in his blood
whose nature is inside of you?
If you’ve got on his righteousness whose righteousness is it?
If you’ve got on the helmet of salvation whose salvation is it?
Paul said this armor --- it is the armor of God
you got on His breastplate it is His righteousness
you've got His belt it is His truth
you’ve got His shoes it is His peace
you've got His helmet it is His salvation
you’ve got His sword in your hand it is His Word
When you speak that word--
just drop the helmet faceplate down
and it sounds just like Jesus to the Devil
why
Because His spirit – his nature is on the inside of you
and all that's come out is His Word from your lips
“as he is so are we in this world”
why
Greater is he that is in you and then he that's in the world
1 John 4:2-4 (NKJV)
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Jesus said don't be afraid I have overcome the world
John 16:33 NKJV
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
1 John 4.17
as he is so are we in this world
we are overcomers
You were not born (again) for ---
Defeat—disaster—depression—discouragement—distress—disease
you were born of God for triumph
you were born of God for victory
WHY?
because ---------
when you've been set free you can bring freedom to others
when you been delivered you can bring deliverance to others when you have been healed you can bring wholeness to others when you have peace you can speak peace to others
freely you have received – freely give
