America Must Heed Nahum's Warning!

Look where we have come from and to in this country.

Is it in the right direction, toward God, or in the wrong direction, away from God?

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.

In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars”

“Where is the security for life, for reputation, and for property, if the sense of religious obligation desert?”

“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty – as well as the privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”

“Everyone elected or appointed to office shall make and subscribe the following declaration, to wit: ‘I do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God, blessed forever more, and I do acknowledge the holy scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be given by divine inspiration.’”

“All persons elected must make and subscribe the following declaration, viz: ‘I do declare that I believe the Christian religion and have firm persuasion of its truth.’”

That is just a few examples of where we came from.

But, where are we today?

The Nineveh of Nahum is about 150 years from the Nineveh of Jonah.

America is 240!

The church has to be the preservative for our nation!
