*Trust in The Lord*
*Proverbs 19:2-3*
*Desire without knowledge* *is not good, and whoever* *makes haste with his feet misses his way*.
*When* *a man’s folly brings his way to ruin*, *his heart rages against the Lord.*
The question is posed, "Can you miss Gods best?" ( v2)
We are called to be wise, to make decisions based on facts, and upon Gods word.
Lack of knowledge is hurtful to Christian on many levels.
Most importantly, it hurts a Christian because we rely on ourselves, on our own desires, and wants.
*Isaiah 5:13 \\ 13 Therefore my people go into /exile/ for lack of knowledge;*//
If we consider the word exile in this passage of scripture we will note that some translations use the word die, or captivity.
This tells use the state of mind we as Christians we are in when not taking the responsibility of wisdom in our own hands.
It is our responsibility not rely on others for insight and wisdom, but to learn and seek out understanding so we will not be slaves to someone else’s thinking.
When we are relying on others understanding or when we rely on our own understanding of situations that arise in our life.
We take all that is skewed in our mindset, in our environmental make up, and in our Human Nature and we mix it together in our own mental bowl we shape it and put on the mantle of our mindset and create our own God.
We who are fallible often tend to put our human understanding on an indescribable God.
Our issues of trust, love, patience, insecurities, and faithfulness are presupposed onto God.
We say because we see these qualities in mankind, in our relationships, in our human father and Mother, surmise that God is like that also.
That is false because when we do that we created a God of our own understanding and not relied upon the God of the Bible.
This is lack of knowledge, lack of wisdom and lack of understanding.
This type of mentality leads to the wrong path and most importantly it leads us into our own understanding and conclusions.
\\ \\           *Proverbs 3:7 \\             Be not wise in your own eyes \\ * \\ We as Christians are called to be a new creation in Christ.
We are called to a wisdom from the mindset of the Spirit not by human nature.
When we go around the Lord we in a sense show a lack of faith in God’s provision.
This is takes us into a whole new realm, the realm of folly.
In other words, the human mindset lacks good sense and foresight and therefore comes out of a spiritual mindset relying on the natural.
We take off the mind of Christ and put on the desires of the flesh.
In Proverbs 19:3 it tells us the outcome of these type of actions.
Our heart rages against the Lord.
Have you ever noticed either through our own actions, or actions of a friend, when we screw up we slowly try to justify our intentions, our thinking, our actions, and anger burns in our heart.
This type of questioning although natural to man never leads us to real truth.
Only a line of answers that we want hear, or that justifies what we do.
When we fall for this line of questions or excuses we then begin to question God and His truth.
Sometimes mans justification even rationalizes that God is ultimately the problem and not the answer.
To this I say, “Pride, Pride, Pride!”
This is dangerous territory because if we convince ourselves that we are right and God, His truth, and His word is the problem we become a casualty of war.
Dead in our sin, bleeding in our Pride held captivity to the natural fallen mindset of man.
The bible knows this type of person an dresses his outcome here in verse three giving us some strong words here.
It says, “it brings us to ruin!”  Anger and tantrums will not bring your want(s) into being.
Only humility, righteousness, and submission to Gods truth will you inherit the Path of the Lord!
*Proverbs 3:6 \\  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths*
Verse 2 states a big reason why we end up not trusting the path of the Lord.
It states, “Whoever makes haste with his feet misses the way.”
So many times we are in a hurry or the will of God doesn’t fit into our time frame which leads us to make some really foolish decisions.
We have to learn to walk and not run, to have spiritual patience relying on faith when time presses in.
We can no longer look through the glass to view the world around us.
For our view is skewed by our selfishness, and our desires.
We should put on the mindset of God, the knowledge of Christ, who is perfect, and leads us to perfection.
\\ \\
*1 Cor.
13:12  \\ "For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."
*
We must be humble enough to understand that we are inadequate.
Who can not see the picture fully?
Who can understand comprehensively?
Which one of us knows?
Therefore, let us not rely on our foresight but that on our Lord Jesus Christ!
*Isaiah 55:8-9*
*8 **For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your*
*ways my ways, declares the* *Lord**.
*
*9 **For as the heavens are higher than the earth,*
*so are my ways higher than your ways*
*and my thoughts than your thoughts.*
\\ For those of us who struggle,  when in doubt trust in the Lord, when in confusion Trust in the Lord, when you don’t understand trust in the Lord!  Trust in the Lord you don't want to miss God's best for you!

*Proverbs 3:5-6 \\ 5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.*
*6 **In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.*
