The word “reconciliation” (กลับคืนดี) is not used very much today.
Dictionary Definition: the *ending of conflict* or renewing of a friendly relationship between disputing people or groups.
= *Peace* & *access *(เราจึงได้เข้า) to God.
However, this word is *not used for other religions* … why?
Because *no other deity *(*พระ*) reconciles mankind.
There is only sacrifices made *out of fear*.
Man is, in a sense, an *enemy* of the deity.
Outside of Christ, we are also *enemies of God*.
Romans 5:10a says that we are God’s enemies.
*Romans 5:10a*: เพราะว่าถ้าขณะที่เรายังเป็นศัตรูต่อพระเจ้า …
* *
*Romans 5:10a*: “For if, when we were God's enemies…

So, *how* are we *reconciled* to God? – Answer: *Through Jesus*!

*Romans 5:10b* …

*Romans 5:10b* … we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” (NIV)

We are *reconciled* to God *through the death of His Son Jesus*!

*2 Corinthians 5:19*:  คือพระเจ้าทรงให้โลกนี้คืนดีกันกับพระองค์โดยพระคริสต์   มิได้ทรงถือโทษในการผิดของเขา   และทรงมอบเรื่องการคืนดีกันนั้นให้เราประกาศ
* *
*2 Corinthians 5:19* that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.
And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Because of our reconciliation through Jesus, God does *not hold our sins against us*.
Moreover, because of reconciliation, we will be *saved for eternity*!
And so this is the *Gospel message* that God wants us to *proclaim to others*.
This *time of communion* is a time to *repent* and *confess* our sins.
*When we repent* and *confess* our sins, *it is a way* in which *we are reconciled to God*.
It is also a *time of joy* (not sadness) because we are *now reconciled* to God through Jesus.
*Thank Him* that He has *forgiven your sins* and *reconciled* you to Himself.
