When Sorrows Roll
Psalm 55
This is a story of treachery and treason. I will approach this Psalm with the assumption that its background is that of Absaloms rebellion.
The Psalm outlines the sorrow of a man (David) who has gone through a heart wrenching time. Perhaps its mention of sorrow may cause the message of the Psalm to be better related to since many of God’s children suffer sorrow.
When sorrows come, they seem to roll one after another.
