Sacrifices were made both for appeasement of sin and for thanksgiving to God in the Old Testament. Christ has atoned for our sin. We are now called to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice - a thanksgiving offering to God.
Don’t be pressed into the World’s mold.
Be transformed from the inside out. The Holy Spirit will take the Word of God and change us from within.
When we read our Bibles we should do so with the attitude of presenting ourselves before the Lord for His service.
Use Your Spiritual Gift
Use your gift humbly - recognizing that the Lord has fashioned the body together. We have need of one another.
Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4 provide a list of different gifts.
