Let me ask you a question this morning?
What do you say if some one asks you who you are?
Practical advise my brothers --- the answer to this question tells alot
Lets try it
ask the man next to you
What did they say?
Did any one say “I am a Christian”
many will make their answer situational
But the Goal is to have the same answer no matter what the circumstance or situation
This is a great place to start your journey today.
We will never finish moving towards ---- Christ until the day of the Lord
Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
No matter where you are in your walk today
You need to be focused on Growing in the Lord
not head knowledge, but lifestyle

The more that we move towards a heart of Christ
the Tougher it is
We play sports to move up in levels and skills
We seek promotions and prizes in careers
But do we KNOW that our MAIN Goal
is to BE CHRIST TO THE WORLD
We have.......

We must live our Christianity
not keep it as a jacket in a closet
to bring out when our world is cold.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
Read the verses later today --- Read the things that “ will be added to you”
Hear the Word of our Lord
do not be anxious
do not worry
We learn, We practice, We become
Life is Tough as a Christian Man
and I want to leave you with a take away
get your identity in Christ
not in your career
not in your position
not in your possessions
not in your politics
This verse started the change in my life
Psalm 37:4 (ESV)
4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
What does it mean to Delight in the Lord
[TELL STORY]
for me it was learning
to change my thinking
to change my speaking
TO understand
I will have TOUGH DECISIONS TO MAKE
and TOUGH STANCES TO TAKE.
Learn to Delight in the Lord
this must become the greatest desire of your heart
Learn to seek first the Kingdom of God
This must become the desire of your MIND
Learning to Life for Eternity
This must become the desire of YOUR SOUL

37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
