Keep Doing What Is Right

We can not stop doing what is right
Churches tend to get board..... maybe complacent.... and let what they have been doing start to fall apart
they loose the excitement and the newness and it starts to show
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Guide with Compassion
Colossians 3:12–14 (ESV)
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
We are called to share the gospel with people who have been
harassed and helpless.
Who have walked through things that you can not understand
we are called to help them, pray for them
Not to inable them but to help them
not to judge them but to show them forgiveness
We can not Guide the Lost if we do not have compassion for them.
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
Look For the Harvest
The harvest is here, its not about waiting its about working it
,we just have to open our eyes to see it
its easy to not see a porblem when we are choosing to ignore the problem
Its all around us
homeless
drug addiction
brokeness
lonleyness
It’s in churches too
Church Hurt
Judgmental people
Bad Example of Christ.
There is a lot of work to do and we need to chose to see it.
Proverbs 10:5 (ESV)
5 He who gathers in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who brings shame.
Galatians 6:9–10 (ESV)
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Jesus tells us how our payers should be..

Pray that God Will Send the Workers
Ephesians 4:10–16 (ESV)
10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
A church can not run by one or a few
a church needs a community of belivers (a family) to do all it is called to do
We all cant be the pastor
we all cant be a deacon
but we all can serve.
And we all can pray for people to come and serve
e in the food back, helping feed and cloth the needy
in love thy neaighbor to help feed our community
in the praise team to help lead us in worship
as a greeter to give people a great first expreance
waving at people as they pass by on a sunday morning
in our nursery and children's church department helping raise the next generation
This year is going to be a change… and we need you
Every day pray for our church and that God will send the right people
Pray that God will guide you to help serve in the right places
Find ways to help every week in aand outside of the church
But This year chould be a change greater then all that..... it could be a change in you
