Psalm 29
God has complete dominion over creation (Sovereign in that He made the rules)
Mighty Ones - Sons of the Mighty. bene elohim. Most see as powerful angelic beings. They like all of creation, bow. Or is it rulers/kings? Either way, they give their glory/strength to?
LORD 18 times - YHVH - Yehovah, Jehovah, Yahveh, Yuva, etc. No one knows because Jews refuse to pronounce.
When the Lord speaks, creation listens. Matthew 8:26–27 “But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?””
Cedars over 20’ tall, huge around.
Joel 3:16 “The Lord also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.” better do it now while he says, Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Psalm 30
When God answers. (Sometimes its no. David was given it all but couldn't build never saw saw heavenly one) so he put his effort into building his house.
up to this point we have seen much praise even
what about when it doesn't come in the morning, wait for the next one! Be assured, your mourning will turn into dancing. Even if he removes us from this world, we win. So we can always praise Him in the midst of any circumstance.
Psalm 31
I times we suffer. God is still good.
His presence. Is where we hide. Remember the table in the presence of my enemies? I have rest when i just rest in Him, not my circumstance. Doesn't mean we can hurt. Doesn't mean we have to like it.
in his haste because of his suffering he thought God cut him off.
if we keep looking to the Lord, He will give us the grace we need in the heart.
