There is a reason people are obsessed with the phrase “I am enough”.
All people have within themselves a lack of completion. We consistently feel as if something is missing. This is what drives us to chase money, relationships, pleasure, thrill, and identity.
As it relates to this topic of Identity and purpose...
Pursuing purpose through adopting the right self identity is really a pursuit of death.
Having the Right opinion about yourself will not heal your soul.
Prioritizing Self Identity is Self Centered.
The only true identity that matters is that of Jesus.
Romans 2
It is important that you understand while believing the I Am statements we’ve been discussing is extremely important, the most important I Am statements to believe are the ones Jesus said!
Now, when I say “believe”, I’m not merely talking about believing information. I’m meaning, you need to believe Jesus.
1. “I am the bread of life”

So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
