And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Every moment of every day as a Christian is intended by God to make me look more and more like Jesus. He uses all things to work for my good and His glory. I must receive this as a gift and walk it out by putting off the old man and putting on the Christ man (New).
