God delivered his people through the Red Sea in the Exodus. But he delivers his people from a far more significant peril by Christ's atoning death on the cross, for all who believe and entrust their lives to him. We are encouraged not to fear, but to depend ultimately on God's deliverance, not being overwhelmed by our situations, to walk by faith and not by sight.
