Jesus is the answer to our need for spiritual transformation. 5-26 2. God wants to use us to reap the harvest that eternally matters—the souls of men. 27-38 3. The result of harvesting is belief in Christ. 3942 THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS STORY . . . 1. Jesus clearly claims that He is the Messiah! 2. God desires spiritual transformation that results in our salvation—deliverance from our sin regardless of the extent of our sin. THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS STORY . . . 3. As believers, our responsibility is not to save souls but to be a tool in the hand of God to help bring in the harvest of people believing. God does the work of salvation. 4. God can use the most unlikely people to accomplish a great harvest of souls. He desires to use all of us. ALLOW GOD TO USE YOUR TESTIMONY TO POINT OTHERS TO CHRIST! APPLICATION 1. For anyone questioning the legitimacy of Christ —If Jesus isn’t the Messiah, then He is a great deceiver. If Jesus is who he says He is, will you believe? 2. Don’t ever think that God can’t use me to reach people for Christ—I may be exactly the person needed to reach a specific person. APPLICATION 3. Purposely point people to Christ. How? ALLOW GOD TO USE YOUR TESTIMONY TO POINT OTHERS TO CHRIST!
