Deuteronomy 28
Before you begin reading this message.
Please take time to read the whole of
Chapter 28 of Deuteronomy and it will help you digest what I am writing about
today.
Right lets get cracking, Now there is message that is crystal clear in the Bible,
a message so clear that a child could read and understand.
That message is
this.
“Obey and be blessed, Disobey and be cursed.”
The whole of the Chapter
used in this text is dedicated to this.
Now let me just say this, Obedience
is not a polite request from God.
It is a direct non negotiable commandment.
Yet time after time, Church's are dismissing it, using cute little sayings like
“its all nailed to the cross” or “the law is done away with” Firstly Jesus died
for forgiveness of our Sin, he didn't die for destruction of the Law or removal
of the most basic commandment of obedience, he died so that our Sins could be
forgiven and through our faith he grant's us repentance, Acts 5:30,31 that
through acting on our faith, by Belief, repentance, Confession of faith and
Baptism.
There is no such thing as faith alone, I have been through this time
and time again so I am not going to spend a lot of time on this Just Check
James 2:15-26
I will shew thee my faith by my works!
There it is, works through faith.
No one
is saying your saved through works alone or by doing good deeds, but through
your faith by what Christ has done for you, you act.
Christ alone has done the
work.
You are merely acting on your faith in what Christ has done for you.
Now let me get back to my scheduled broadcast.
The first 14 Verses of
Deuteronomy 28 Deals with the blessings for obedience.
The remaining part
of the Chapter deals with the consequences of Dis-obedience.
Now weather
you are reading this as a new Believer, long time believer or even a nonbeliever
you cannot deny that with all actions there is consequences, good or bad
depending on the circumstances.
God demands obedience.
You cant get away
from it.
Let me lay out some verses for you.
2nd Thessalonians 1:5-10
2nd Timothy 3:2-7 2nd Timothy 3:13-17 Titus 1:9-16 Titus 2:11,12
James 1:25 James 4:7-10 2nd Peter 1:3-11 2nd Peter Chapter 2
You know I could go on and on Romans, the Gospels and by the way I
haven't
mentioned the Old Testament because I know some of you snakes will only
accept the New Testament only, unless we are talking about Tithing, then
all of a sudden that Old Law that was so called “nailed to the cross” all of a
sudden comes down from the Cross and into the collection plate, yes, some of
“preachers” are so a la-carte when it comes to the Bible making your own
Law's deciding through your own selves what is beneficial by and large for
yourselves.
In this case the money!!!!
There is no 10% in the New Testament.
Preachers today, talk about the importance of Thith and even say “God will
get it out of you somehow.”
yet when it comes to more weightier matters
they are so quiet.
Do they preach against Abortion?? nooooo Pornography??
nooo Fornication nooooo Sodomy, mostly no.
Yet you don't pay your 10%
and your in all kinds of trouble!!!!!!
I don't know if I can make this any more clear.
YOU MUST OBEY, HE DEMANDS OBEDIENCE.
Its not an option, its not a do it if you feel like it.
Its a direct Commandment
from God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13,14
Made very clear by our Lord Jesus Christ
Matthew 7:21-27
OK, that's it, I am done.
Just what will it take for these so called Preachers to
grow a back bone and Teach the Bible in truth and lay it out as they see it in
Scripture.
Well let me put it to you this way, there would be far less people
receiving this so called “calling” if the $70,000 a year was removed.
Simply
many are called by the Money not by God.
“For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this
fury at mine hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee,
to drink it.”
Jeremiah 25:15 KJV 1611
If you are really called by God and where ever you are located preach the truth,
and that is there is a raging mad God up there, because the Nations will not
obey.
Center around the obedience to God.
