Four tests for the True Believer

Real tests for the True Believer! Are you one of the many whom Satan is bothering you? He is telling you your clothes aren’t good enough your car aren’t nice enough you don’t do enough miracles?

1.   Being Born of God (re-born) `    

1 John 5:1 (KJV 1900)

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

a.       Re – born as a child of God!

 John 3:3 (KJV 1900)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

b.      Did you accept Jesus as your saviour?  

Romans 12:9 (KJV 1900)

9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

c.       But one Sunday night wasn’t all we need to do. Put sins out of your life!

1 Peter 2:1-2 (KJV 1900)

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2.   Keep or Obey Gods word!

1 John 5:2 (KJV 1900)

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

a.       This proves you not only obey it proves your Love

 1 Thessalonians 3:12–13 (KJV 1900)

12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: 13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

b.      When we keep his commands we show our love

 1 John 5:3 (KJV 1900)

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

c.       His commands aren’t hard

Matthew 11:30 (KJV 1900)

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

3.   Become Overcomers

1 John 5:4 (KJV 1900)

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

a.       Submit to God

 James 4:7 (KJV 1900)

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

b.      Become close to God!

 James 4:8 (KJV 1900)

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
