The most important influence in shaping people’s religious lives is the religious life modeled and taught to them by their parents.

How do we frustrate our kids?

We don’t talk about our faith.

1 out of 8 kids hear their mom talk about faith

1 out of 20 kids hear their dad talk about faith

We don’t talk about the Bible.

1 out of 12 kids experience Bible reading and/or devotions at the home.

We don’t talk about the impact of Christ on our life.

We don’t talk about the opportunities Christ has given us.

What can I do different?

Schedule regular times to have family devotions together.

Don’t just ask about what they learned in church, share what you learned in church.

Take your kids with you as seek to serve in Kingdom work.

Look for opportunities to take your kids on mission trips.
