Intro/Welcome

Heart of the Ministry
We are a group that is UNITED together to make disciples that impact our community and our world for the Gospel.
UNITED in the WORD
We believe that we are to be UNITED with Jesus, He said, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5)
UNITED in Community
He desired that we as His followers live in unity that the world would know the love the Father has for them (John 17:21-23).
UNITED in Outreach
We are UNITED about reaching our community and world for the Gospel.
We believe that as we have a UNITED mindset focused on passionately pursuing a relationship with Jesus and with fellow believers our lives will naturally be outward reaching to impact our community and world with the life altering message of the Gospel

What is the purpose of my life?
What Career Path should I choose?
When should I go back to work, or should I?
All of these are great questions...
But, as we walk through 2nd Peter, We are going to unpack something that is far more important than “What we DO”
It is "Who am I Becoming”
Peter’s reason for writing this 2nd epistle to prepare us for false teachings that will come in the world and from within the church.
2 Peter 1:1-4
1 Simon Peter a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us :2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
