Go Back to a Basic Scriptural Study of Things We Just Take for Granted
Not for the Simple Reason of Looking at the Basic Stuff…
But for the Purpose of Seeing if the Way We Do Things is the Most Beneficial/Scriptural Way of Doing Things
Do Different Sub-Series:
Back to the Basics of Worship/Assembly
Look at All the Things We Do in Our Worship Services
Are They Scriptural?
Could They Changed to Be More Scriptural/Beneficial
Back to the Basics of Salvation
Look at What We Teach Concerning Salvation
Is it Scriptural?
Is There a Better/More Scriptural/More Beneficial Way of Teaching Salvation
Back to the Basics of Evangelism
Look at How the Early Church Evangelized
They Went Where the People are (Synagogues, Marketplaces)
We Need to Seek to Be Around People
They also had a Cheat Code Called Spiritual Gifts
They were Used to Confirm What They had to Say
But Paul Tells Us that We have Something Even Better: Love
Evangelism Comes Down to Being Around People & Showing Them that We Love Them
The Early Christians Rarely Ever Worked Alone
Don’t Feel Like the Burden of Evangelism is on Only Your Shoulders
It is Something We can/should Do Together
Everyone Needs to Choose a Prospect & Allow Us to Help You Show Them Love
Too Many Evangelistic Programs are Sneaky & are About Tricking Someone Toward Jesus
Let’s Be Upfront & Open with People
Tell Them, “The Reason You’re Getting So Many Cards is Because I Told the Church that I’m Trying to Share the Gospel with You, and They Want You to Know that They Want You to Become a Christian Too!”
Invite Them in to Your Home & Cook a Meal for Them
