Today we are going to talk about Holiness. Someone here asked for a message about Holiness.

First, how do we define holiness.

As John Brown, a nineteenth-century Scottish theologian, wrote, “Holiness consists in thinking as God thinks, and willing as God

I Need to Love.

Perfect Love is Holiness

No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

“Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

God is Love

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

Perfect Love cast out Fear.

1 John 4:18 NASB95

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
