Introduction:

I will say I love you to my Kristi at least once this day.

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. (Colossians 3:14 NKJV)

I will not bring up my Kristi’s past failures today.

Love… does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; (1 Corinthians 13:5 NKJV)

I will put from my mind Kristi’s weak points, which I cannot change.

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (Colossians 3:13 NKJV)

I will concentrate today on my Kristi’s good points.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.   Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3-4)

I will make some comment today which points to God’s wonderful tomorrow.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NKJV)

I will seek to bring laughter into my Kristi’s life today.

A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. (Proverbs 17:22 NKJV)

I will give Kristi some little gift today whether a tangible one or just a word or deed.

A gift in secret pacifies anger, And a bribe behind the back, strong wrath. (Proverbs 21:14 NKJV)

I will not end this day angry at her.

I will pray for Kristi.
