Welcome & Reason for gathering

We are gathered here this afternoon to witness the renewal of marriage vows between Keith & Bridget
When you first joined hands and hearts in marriage 11 years ago, you did not know where life would take you. You came together to begin a new life and family together.
You promised to love, honor and cherish one another through all things.
Life has surely brought you both wonderful blessings and difficult challenges over the years.
But here you are today, having fulfilled the vows to love, honor and cherish you each made on your wedding day.
And God is smiling!
Today, we celebrate with you as you reflect back over these years as husband and wife.

Vows

(Direct couple to turn and face one another, holding hands)

Keith--

I Keith take you Bridget
to be my beloved wife again
I renew my promise
to cherish and honor you
through the ups and downs of life
I also promise
to be a devoted father
to our children
I promise to love them
and guide them with you
creating a home of laughter
understanding, and unconditional love
With this vow
I reaffirm my eternal love
and devotion to you

Bridget--

I Bridget take you Keith
to be my beloved wife again
I renew my promise
to cherish and honor you
through the ups and downs of life
I also promise
to be a devoted father
to our children
I promise to love them
and guide them with you
creating a home of laughter
understanding, and unconditional love
With this vow
I reaffirm my eternal love
and devotion to you

Sand Ceremony

As a visual and tangible way of showing their commitment to each other, Keith & Bridget have chosen to participate in the sand ceremony.
Once the colors have been blended, they cannot be separated.
Typically couples use this a demonstration of their commitment to each other in unity.
In this renewing ceremony, Keith & Bridget have chosen to include their children

Personal Words

Normally I would offer some words of guidance and wisdom to a new couple entering into marriage, but you’ve been there for 11 years
