Walk in Genuine Love

Christ is our example of genuine love.
The world seeks after self-love.
“The heart knows what it wants.”
Fornication: any sexual sin, adultery, pre-marital sex, homosexuality, bestiality, incest, prostitution.
Uncleanness: impure thoughts an actions that arise from lust.
Covetousness: insatiable desire for more, does not hesitate to wrong someone for gain.
“Ends justify the means.”
An unredeemed heart is an idol factory. It fashions gods according to its own lusts, but the end of lust is self-consumption.
God’s love is pure and brings peace. It seeks the best for another and not to gratify self.

Walk in Gratefulness

Don’t talk like the world.
Dirty and course language does not have a place in the mouth of God’s Children.
Instead, walk in thanksgiving toward God.
“I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall be continually in my mouth.”

Walk in Truth

Walk in the light as God’s children.
Be filled with goodness: seeking to do good to others, moral excellence in action.
Be filled with righteousness, doing what pleases God.
Walk in the Truth. “if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with God, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.”
