My brothers and my sisters this Christian journey we are on in not a journey of overnight success! Every day has its share of ups and downs................ect.

1.Trust God with the things you would normally try to handle.

Trust according to the Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus is defined as: firm belief in the reliability, strength, or truth of someone or something.

(v.6) “In all thy ways acknowledge Him….”

2.Learn to see God working in every situation.

I know normally when you can’t see a way out of a situation, you would call on momma or somebody else for some help, but you have to learn to see Jesus making a way in your situation. Can I call a witness this morning? Come here Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (tell their story).

I know it hurt because your boo walked out of your life; but you should thank God because he’s taking out the trash so the one you should be with can come in.

You have to learn to see God working in every situation, Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

They thought Gideon was a fool when he brought 300 men to a battle, but they did not see the God who was on his side. Goliath thought David crazy when he can to battle with just a rock; but he did not know the rock whose name is Jesus. I heard the song writer say, “On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand”.

3.Finally, when you begin to thank God regardless to what situation you are in; verse 6 says “He shall direct your path.

What are you saying Pastor Stanley? When God is mapping out your life; those situations in life that would normally destroy you will begin to see the good in every situation!

There was a time in life when you would normally cry and think the world was coming to an end; but now you say like David in Psalm 30:5, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

The people around you who have walked away from you or are talking about you, you can see the joy in it knowing that, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

You’ve been holding a grudge because your mother or father was not there when you were younger, but I heard David say in Psalm 27:10 “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.”

Someone might ask you this week how do you not let stuff bother you anymore. Just tell them with a smile on your face: “It’s the God in Me!
