Romans 8:31–34 NIV
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Who Can Be Against us?

God is for us
nothing in this world or in heaven above
Jesus died to set us free from sin
why would God change his mind or practice?
why would God not give us good gifts?
we are his children, equal with Christ in the Kingdom

Giving Us All Things

Romans 8:32 NIV
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
God did not spare Jesus
Christ did choose to be obedient
that is why there is unlimited power in his name
a willing death means total payment of the debt
our belief creates the freedom for God to bless us eternally without limit
there can be no doubt - so do not doubt
ensure this truth is remembered every moment

he has given us the fullness of his generosity
he has given us the Holy Spirit
we are being transformed into the very likeness / image of Jesus
when we are in Christ then no accusation can stick

Condemnation from Man

Romans 8:34 NIV
Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
the question for each one o us
who condemns us? who brings the accusation?
NO ONE!
the only person authorized to do so is Jesus
the only person qualified is Jesus
ordinary man or woman cannot
should not
our responsibility is to encourage one another

Tbe Bible and Curses

Numbers 23:8
How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the LORD has not denounced?
Proverbs 26: 2
Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.
