Psalm 100 (KJV)

1    Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations.

1. Let us praise the Lord!

a.      Make a joyful noise!

Psalm 95:1 (KJV)

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

When we are in church, Praise the Lord! When we are in school Praise the Lord, when we are happy praise the Lord! When we are hurting and sad Praise The Lord! When we are sick Praise the Lord! I want us to be able to have a home church that is able to truly Praise God when we come together!

Psalm 43:5 (KJV)

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, Who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

b.       Take time to sing to the Lord!

Psalm 150KJV

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

c.       Yes I want to have musical instruments here and I want to praise God with them but let’s not wait till we have musicians before we praise him!

2. Let us also pray to the Lord!

a.      If we want to feel God in this church we need to be a praying church!

Psalm 95:6 (KJV)

O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

b.      We must be a church always ready to pray at any time for any cause!

Romans 12:12 (KJV)

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

c.       All our services must be bathed in prayer!

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (KJV)

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

3. Let’s work together to see the will of God done here at Abounding Grace Assembly of God

Acts 2:1-4 (KJV)

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
