Good morning.

Go ahead and stand and join me.

If you haven't already gotten a communion cup. Now, is a good time to visit that table in the back and grab one.

Behold.

Nbc10.

Good morning. I just got here. So Jared was starting to stress out a little bit cuz he thought he was going to have to cover for me.

Late. But happy to be here.

Okay.

Alright, morning again. Sorry, I just closed it. I'm sorry, there we go. All right, cool. So a couple weeks ago, we floated down the Chena. I just was like, 3 weeks ago, about 3 weeks ago. It was hot. It was nice. It was great. It was awesome. And it's actually kind of funny this ties into stuff Jared. I've been working on two because we each have some rafts. He's got a couple is getting rid of. I've got one, I picked up and A couple of them leak just to be blunts. Not that throw anything under the bus, at least a little more than I do. But the topic of patches and such have certainly been on the table lately and the one I took down the river. Had a small leak in. It, it wasn't too bad but button patch. It I would have to be pumping up one of the four chambers the whole time down the river, which it was just me when they've been a big deal. But since I had my entire family of eight on a 14 ft long raft, it would have been an issue especially since I was the one rowing and Hiking kids out of water and Kim was holding on to Timothy and there were his countless boats, going down the river, and up the river in about forty thousand people on stand-up paddleboards. They were dodging as well have been complicated. I'm sure we would have taken on water. It would have been fun but needless to say, got it fixed. Very stinky glue was involved a little time. Will Sunshine with the patch works and we stayed high and dry and hopefully that's going to be the case for Jared stuff to when we get around to fixing it. Then all its wrapping is fun, but repairs are needed. so, I was kind of thinking about that and think about again, when all the glue, I was buying this weekend and everything else, to fix some more holes and some stuff that came off

When are we are sinners? We don't have holes in our lives that need filling and I'm sure everyone here has heard the term god-shaped hole. I know, it's something that I've told my kids and it's probably something. We say to kids, maybe more than adults, but it's a nice description of what we deal with. It's a phrase that points to the fact that everyone has a void or a hole in our lives, that can only be filled by the presence of God. It's something. We have analyzed. That's a longing for something other than things of this world, something far greater than we can ever provide on her own. Rob born with this hole. And desire.

And I'm missing a line. Sorry we're all born with this whole or desire for something greater and this longing and some of us knew what that was early on in some of us did not and I'm sure it one point all of us tried to fill that hole on her own.

And frankly, this could be filled with attempted to be filled with money drugs, alcohol for relationships thrill-seeking really anything that the world has to offer pursuing? These is just like pumping more air into that leaking, Tabor though that hole is still there. That chamber is still leaking at at some point you're probably going to say and can take on water. Pump It Up, will prophesy for a Time. But what we were filling our lives with is always going to go away, always going to leak out, leave it, empty will never be fully, satisfied, will always be longing for more and Jeremiah 17:9 describe the condition of our hearts is the heart is more deceitful than anything else and incurable, who can understand it. We may mean, well, we may be doing good things but in the end we are sinners and well, our hearts are lies, our intentions, they are not perfect. Fortunately that longing, that hole that every one of us has or had a desire to fill, is there for a reason and it is fillable, We Are All Made for God's Eternal purpose and only God can fill that desire and it can't be done. We have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We accept that. Gift that he offers is a sacrifice on the cross. So we can fill that void.

Really happy to actually that that kind of came to mine. This originally came in a couple of weeks ago, we had all these kids be baptized within on a one month. My bunch of kids in one older gentleman, It was awesome to see that that's seeking that searching to fill that god-shaped hole that that boy was filled when they gave their lives to Christ.

So it's it's it's awesome to think about that. Jesus came down to this earth, to die, for our sins, to, to meet the need, that we can't fill to be the sacrifice that we couldn't be. And that's that whole can be filled with his love and a gift that he gave us.

So this morning, we take communion when we eat the bread and drink the juice. We're remembering and we're celebrating that. That hole is filled that God gave us that round Peg for that round hole or that square peg for that square hole that it was it was taken care of for us that he loves us enough that he can fill that void in our lives. And a boy to be feel perfectly. So I want to give thanks for the bread. Before we take it and Robert could you do me a favor? Could you go get me a communion cup, please. Thank you young, man.

Let's give thanks for the bread. Lord God, we are so grateful.

That you're in our lives. Even if you don't read, we don't realize it. Cuz we are not perfect. We are sinners. And when we don't know you, we don't know the gift of your son Lord. There's that missing or is that longing?

I'm glad we may try to fill it with things of this world. We might try to fill it with excitement with fun. we might have try to fill it with,

Addictions are bad habits. But Lord, you sent your son to this Earth To Die For Us. You sent your son to be that sacrifice for a sword. And OfferUp that gifts. and I just accepted Lord fills that void and makes us whole I'm glad we take the spread this morning. We are grateful for we give thanks for it.

Symbolizes the death of Jesus on the cross, his body broken for a sword. We are thank you for his death and for the gift that comes with it. Jesus name, amen.

We will give thanks for the juice.

Our God. We thank you so much.

For that sacrifice provided to us, Lord. We take this juice. Is a symbol of Christ's blood. That was poured out for us. I washed our sins clean made us whole again.

That we are thankful that. As we take this, we are reminded of what you've done for us, what your son done for us, did for us Lord.

And most importantly, Lord, that not just that he died. Arose again.

Lord, we're so grateful. That that gift is freely given to us. We have to do is reach out and accept it. Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Find.

Father, we come before you today and we thank you for what you've done for us and we thank you that we can be reminded by the song that your body in the Bible that says be still and know that I am God. And then no matter what trials, we Face, where we're at today that you are bigger than them and we ask your blessings on the service today. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. Take a few minutes and greet your neighbor.

You suck.

And kids, you guys can go to use for the Lord and teens with Miss Carla.

They're going to have a video and experiments, and bugs and science. Pretty exciting.

But you're adults are stuck with me. So, It's like the consolation prize.

Well, I am glad you are here. And if you're watching online, I am glad that you are here, too. So I was wondering if you've ever seen. A knock-off product, a product that, you know, was supposed to look like the real or the original thing. I found this picture arm and Hatchet baking soda. Have you ever use that? It's like, you know, Armand Hammer, they try to make it look really good. It's just slightly off, right? It's not, not much. But then, sometimes, let's see, I got rid of it. Sometimes, it's so hard to know what the actual original is. To what the fake is. And sometimes your eyes play tricks on. You see, this is a beat us, Noticed any problems with that one? If if you switch your bees in your knees, then know you don't. So, I went to Namibia with soccer team for missions trip. And while we were down there, we also saw a lot, but one of the stores we went into sold all of these great soccer jerseys and soccer gear. And it was pretty awesome because all the teams that I wanted to buy their jerseys for I could actually afford,

But you know once we inspected it more we realized there's something different about it. We picked up the shirt and it just wasn't quite as thick as we were used to. We looked at the logo and it wasn't quite as pronounced as we thought. And there were just these little things that we were able to understand. This is a fake, this is a knockoff and they're trying to deceive us to try to buy their product. You might wonder. Okay, how, how did we know that? I mean, we're just normal people, we don't study things like product, but Adidas is one of those, like, I was surprised, I didn't mean to wear my jersey, my shirt today, but this is Adidas, right? And then being in soccer, a lot of our products for Adidas. So, do the soccer ball

and, My hat. and, My hat. End. My hat. I didn't really know that I was that into this, but In soccer, they were the best now. I don't know. And then, you know, we would wear Adidas. So, this is my jersey from it. And it was Adidas uniform, and we were able to actually comprehend, what was real and fake, because we touched the real, we saw the real, we held it, we actually wore the real. So then when we came up to the fake, we knew exactly what was fake and that's how it is for us. In our Christian walk. When we know the real, we can spot the fake and discernment. That's being able to understand or ascertain. What is true discernment isn't just for me to do for you. It actually is, for all of us individually to do together. And sometimes. We forget that, you know, someone can make us a meal and bring it to us. But we have to actually pick it up and eat it. This is like discernment. A leader can come and try to explain, and help and grow. But you have to get it yourself. We have to test the spirits and that's what we're looking at. So if you want to turn your Bibles to First, John chapter 4 will not have it on the slides today because we are actually going to look at the versus more in detail. There is a Pew Bible in front of you. I was going to look up the passage but I forgot but it's first John towards the end of the Bible. And while you're doing that, we have been going through a series called prove it, if you say that you are a follower of Jesus, And someone comes up to you what they know it by how you live by how you talk by how you act, does your actions prove it that you're a Christian, do your words prove it that you are Christian and today we prove it by testing, what's true? And what's false John? He wrote this book of the Bible Hebrews and I witness to Jesus. He was one of the disciples by one of Jesus best friends and he saw Jesus, he touched Jesus. He heard Jesus. He was with Jesus. He knew the real and he's easily able to spot the fake and he was riding to Believers in Ephesus, which is in modern-day turkey now and they In their Church. They had a group of people that were saying I know something. You don't know, you know like that I know something you don't know. Just like kids to do and if, you know it, then you can actually be saved. Then you can actually have eternal life but if you don't know it, then you actually don't have eternal life. And so they were starting to think that there's some kind of secret knowledge. These people were called the gnostics that there's something secret that we need to know in order to actually really be saved. See, people were talking on things to the gospel somewhere saying, well, you have to have circumcision in order to be saved somewhere saying, well, baptism saves somewhere, saying Works, save, they continued to add an add-on to scripture and the people were Unsure of what they even believed. And so John was writing to them, he always calls on little children or beloved because he's older and he's writing to them to encourage them. So if you have your Bibles, we're going to read 1st, John 4, verses 1 through 6 and I'm reading out the ESV today. Beloved, do not believe every Spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets, have gone out into the World. By this, you know, the spirit of God, every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in. The flesh is from God. And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already Little Children, You are from God and have overcome them for. He who is in, you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world. Therefore they speak from the world in the world. Listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us. Whoever is not from God does not listen to us by this. We know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error

so, Many times. We look at scripture in. Think that's a lot of words. I didn't understand it at all and then we kind of shut our brains off. But God wants us to engage your mind. You know, he did give us science to engage or mine to see him through the world. He created the word is the same. He wants us to engage our mind. So, we have this passage, and if we just took it out of context, we lose something. But if we put it back in contacts, then we can understand more. So he's talking to these beloved. You saying, don't believe every spirit. So where is he getting this? Why is he looking at that? Well, if you jump back 1 verse, you kind of get where John's thought process was going, whoever keeps his Commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this, we know that he abides in Us by the spirit, whom he has given us, So he's got this in mind, he knows he's going to be talking about the spirit of God and then he remembers. Okay. You my flock in the ever since you don't understand. And there's some things you need to understand. So, verse one beloved, is this written to Christians or non-christians? Christian. Okay, that's important. Christians fellow believers. Little children, do not believe every Spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, okay? So first we have, what we are supposed to do, and why we're supposed to not believe every Spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. And then, we have the reason for many false prophets have gone out into the world. And it's kind of interesting when he says, do not believe every spirit. This is in the perfect tense. It actually, was it meant that they were actually believing everything they hurt and you said, stop believing everything. You hear. Stop thinking that everything that comes out of the mouth of someone up front is actually truth. And then he says, okay, once you stop that, you need to discern the spirits Spirits, okay, we got God, God Spirit given trust from verse 24, but what is this other spirit that were talking about? If you go to verse 6, you see the two Spirits right there, Spirit of Truth and spirit of deception, or are so, these are the two Spirits her talking about and is spiritism.

It's kind of a, I don't know, it's a really challenging word. I had to think about it a lot this week, because why didn't John just say do not believe every person? But he didn't say, I do not believe every person he says, do not believe every spirit so then that had to mean he did it for a reason. Well, any person that presumes to speak for God is like a prophet one that foretells or 4th, Pals doesn't have to be a prediction but he's saying or she's saying, I am speaking on behalf of God. So anyone that speaks on behalf of Is speaking for that spirit Spirit of deception or Spirit of Truth. So when John says, test the spirits you saying test the one that they're speaking for, just the one that they say is actually true. So, we have to test these. And then we find out for there are many false prophets, many false speakers who have gone out into the world. And you know, we see that everyday even within Christendom with quotations, we see televangelists say these things. And you know it sounds good but there's just something wrong like it looks right. Quiet. And if we went out of Christianity, then there's a lot like June said, loveislove. Well it sounds really good and love is God, while God is love God's. Actual character is love itself, but any love is not God's love. So what is real? And I mean we all know that we have to discern what's real and what's false, I mean we do it for a product. Saw the time mean is as real as if not, is it a Coach purse purse, or is it a church purse? I mean, these are the things we have to think about. So why when it comes to our intellect? Reminder like we just kind of accept it and move on John through the Holy Spirit has not good enough. Stop believing everything you hear. Don't believe everything you read on the internet don't believe everything you read in the newspaper but test it Okay. So there was actually a lot of magic. This is actually a magic, scroll? Really interesting incantations and things like that. A lot of military leaders would want to have a Not a soothsayer, whatever the word would be at not a psychic but basically someone that could tell them the future for the battle. There was a lot of this kind of spiritualism that was going on around them. We know. Okay, there's a lot of magic going on lot of things that's their culture. Our culture has a lot of magic as well. Keep going, our culture has a lot of magic as well. A lot of spiritualism that people think okay. There's something more. But then they don't think about the reason. Why. And what that means? So, this Spirits I was talking about, did you ever see the lord of the ring? And if you did, at the end of the movie, The Return of the King, there comes out of the black gate, this speaker. And if you remember him, he's pretty ugly. Like his mouth opens up bigger than it showed. His teeth are longer than it should. He was called the Mouth of Sauron, he spoke for Sarah. So these false prophets, were the speakers of the spirit. That's why John was wanting to get them to comprehend. What is going on? now, I think something that's important to know is he doesn't say test the spirits in order to condemn the person speaking, because sometimes as Christians we are pretty critical and we want to test it in order to put the person down or put them in their place or if you want to politically correct, Christian term, Teach them what's right? That's kind of what we like to do. And what John is saying, we don't do it because of that. We wanted to test it to see if it's something. We can approve, something we can believe on and follow. So this is from the NIV application, and it was good because it gives a background. The house churches were isolated cities throughout the Roman Empire in the early years. There were few formal Creed's to give doctrinal guidance, nor where the scripture is available as we have them today, Noble. Nose thing to call their own, it's all oral tradition. So when the church has started to grow and expand the relied on leaders to come and teach them. So that's why Paul since I was in Timothy to come speak to them, that's why John went to Ephesus and spoke to them, but they started to run into issues when people who did not speak for God, came in and said, oh yeah, I speak for god. Listen to me. And then they started to Wave the flag. It's like a wolf in sheep's clothing. They looked really good, really, really. Close. But there's something off about it. And yet, people were taken in, I found this interesting that tall actually started to sign his correspondence with recognizable markings. That's pretty crazy. So, he started to write in a way that people knows Paul himself, rather than a fake word. So that's why we test the spirits. That's why we test those that say, they speak for God and then we get to burst to buy this, you know, the spirit of God, every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is coming to class is from God. And every spirit that is not confess. Jesus is not from God. So there's two tests test for us to understand what is true. What is cost first one is What is the message? What is the message? The second one is. How is that message received? So what is the message version 2 and 3? The message here, we get by this. You know. That means a spiritual a circumstantial? Sure, knowledge. You can know this is not a hidden knowledge. Remember they had those people and said there's a hidden knowledge or something and you don't really know it until you really know it and then then you're a good person. But you can know that this is the spirit of God. And then it goes on every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in, the flesh is from God.

Jesus. His human name given to him at Birth, right? Emmanuel God With Us. But what does Christ mean?

Christ means savior or Messiah. So, everytime we say, Jesus Christ. You know what we're doing? We're affirming fully God and fully, man. So when John says, you can know the spirit of God is when they say, Jesus came fully man, only begotten, Son of God, fully God, who purposely set aside, everything that he had to come to save us, and, Tony Evans says it this way, he limited himself because he has a human body but he is Limitless because he's got his mother gave birth to him because he's a man. But he created her because he's God, he went to sleep because he's a man. But he commanded the wind and waves to go to sleep because he is God, the truth about the uniqueness of Jesus must be your spiritual Foundation.

So, these false prophets were basically, saying, Jesus didn't actually come, and if he did come, it was just a man named Jesus, who upon his baptism the Holy Spirit. God Christ came down upon him and Christ live through this human person. And then right before the crucifixion of Christ, went back up to heaven. That's what a lot of them were thinking. So they were divorcing. Fully God from fully man. If you could do that, everything that Jesus says Is worthless. It doesn't mean anything. So John saying the spirit of God, someone speaking for God, will say that Jesus came in the flash as fully God, and fully man. If that is true, then all the words that Jesus spoke have to be true.

So basically you accept God's word or you don't, that's our biggest test then, what is the message? What is being understood? People are inspired to speak. We speak from what we know and what we understand in the world, the world, as in everything, we get bombarded by things. And what goes in is what comes out, we speak, what we say we speak what we know and if a person is not captivated by the Holy Spirit, they're held captive by the ruler of this world. Satan, and his demons that doesn't mean they're all occupied by saying his demons, but because of the holy spirit's not living in them, that god-shaped hole, they're easily swayed, they're always leaking out the world around them. So then what is said, what is the message? That's our first test. Then the test number 2. Verses 5, through 6 says this. They are from the world. Therefore they speak from the world and the world listens to him. We are from God. And whoever knows God listens to us whoever is not from God, does not listen to us by this. We know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error So, how is the message received? By the world means that the world will accept it.

It's saying things that people want to hear love is love man. You love whoever you want cuz God is love and raw going to heaven cuz we're all good. Deep down, you know. that gets people excited, that gets people cheering and the only time I've ever actually had people excited for what I said was when we were in the movie at the same time and I said hello and it may Sanam is Ivan labor on and I reckon

I suspect and first on Netflix Afrikaans and I didn't mess up in front of them, but I just said, hey, my name is Ivan Library night, I speak a little Afrikaans cuz my dad was from South Africa. And they were happy about that. But then I started to talk about God and then they're not happy about it because if Jesus is who he says he is If God is God, then that means we have to answer to him and the world does not like that. People that have not come to faith in Christ. Don't want to have to compromise their believe. They don't want to change. They like the way they are. And when we speak the truth, the world hates it because we are exposing sin without even meaning to just by being us. God uses us to expose sin. This doesn't mean that we have, we should speak. Harshly the truth. Paul says speak the truth in love. We are to be loving with how we speak. It's super easy as Christian to speak harshly, condemning like in the world hate us. But that's not what we're supposed to do. We love in our speech, we stand for the truth, even if it's hard for a person to hear voodoo doll love.

The world speaks for what they know. But, by those who love God, they speak for the spirit of God. It's right. But the world will hate it. if you wanted a example, The world speaks from what it knows when I was growing up my family and extended wear. Realistic critical. I mean it as an adult. Now looking back, I'm surprised at all the things that we were critical on. So I had as a kid, I would speak. Criticalness I would speak a little legalism because that's what I learned. That is everything that surrounded me and it's going to come out. So then I get the college and I think through these things and I'm like, wow, that is really critical, I was speaking. What my family was speaking. I was saying what they were saying. I was being a mouthpiece of this legalism. And that's what the world is. It's just going to say what the world says, but as followers of Jesus, we have to let our hearts through the holy spirit guide, our words to be able to say the things he wants the truth in love. So when we do that, we can discern the spirit of Truth Capitol from the spirit of error or deception. Those are the two spirits and then we get the verse for, we didn't skip it little children. You are from God and have overcome them for. He who is in, you is greater than he who is in the world. so remember that, John was speaking to these Believers in Ephesus who We're being told lies and they weren't sure what the believe they were worried about. Am I believe in the right thing by not believing the right thing. They were floundering basically and John is comforting, his readers. He's racing or trying to ease their fears about being tempted away from the truth. Jesus is greater his truth is greater and standing firm and it will yield a better outcome. So all well and good. We get that. Oh yeah. Greater is he? That is in me than he that is in the world. OK. Google. What. What is that even look like? Well in diving, if you wanted to go down in the deep sea you and I couldn't unless we were equipped properly, this is a diving bell, they call it. And Tony Evans says, the tremendous pressure in the oceans. Death can crush a human diver. But if you descend into a pressurized diving bell like this one, It exerts pressure outward to protect you from destruction. So the holy spirit is a lot like the diving bell as we get saturated in this world. We're not of the world but we are sure in it. The Holy Spirit encapsulator us and gives us this. Holy pressure to withstand the world as it presses in just like this diving bell does. So having overcome is in the perfect tense. It actually means you overcame with God's help and you continue to overcome it's not one time. Oh yeah. I had this last and I overcame it. That's it. That's the whole time in life. Sorry. Once I'm done. No it's greater. Is he who is in you? That is continually in you. That is helping you continue to overcome the world. To one thing that's actually really interesting and we don't really get it unless we looked at the Greek, is this whole passage is in the plural. He's talking to Believers people that were in Ephesus, that followed got. But when you get to Little Children, You plural are from God. And have overcome them for. He who is in, you plural is greater than he who is in the world. You know, the holy spirit is with us, we are given him. He is what keeps us afloat in God's realm but this prone pleural refers to the community of believers.

We are made to attempt the battle saying on our own. Paul talks about the armor of God. We put on the armor but you know, there's only a few pieces of armor that you can actually put on yourself when I wore the armor for Easter. I don't know how many years ago I could put on the helmet. I could hold the shield. I could hold the sword but I actually couldn't put on the breastplate of righteousness. I had a hard time lacing up the you know the shoes Jared had to help me. Why do we think it's any different when we want to fight Satan? When we we can't fight Satan. Only God through us can stand at the same, but we forget the community aspect. We are made to be part of the body, Believers together. We need each other for prayer for resources, advice, guidance, protection, healing and so much more So, we are individuals. Pressurized by the Holy Spirit made to live in community with other individuals that are pressurized empowered by the Holy Spirit.

This is how we test the spirits. What's the message? How is it received? So, in order to do this, we have to look at scripture. We get guidance from Godly Believers. We pray for clarity from the Holy Spirit. Scripture we can do on our own but getting guidance from Godly Believers. Actually includes other people. So Community again.

We have to pray for clarity. To deny that Jesus either was not Divine or that he was not human makes everything we believe worthless. So if someone fudge is this kind of stuff, then it's worthless. I was reading a

it was a doctrinal statement or what? We believe of a church dunlora 48 in it, you know, it sounded pretty good. But it never said anything about Sin. Never said anything about Jesus, having to come to atone for sin. That he was the only payment, the propitiation, the scapegoat the one that could take the place of us for that sin. It just said, we all can take part in God's family. We all can take part in communion, it was a very fluffy gospel. So if we were doing the test, what is the message? The message is. We're All God's Children and yes, we are but we aren't all children of God. We don't all have the Holy Spirit within us so they were false prophets. They were anti-christ anti messiah's. That's what that means. There's a lot of anti messiah's out there once against God. And then if we look maybe there is a church. This one's actually a major church. That some of us as a listen to some of their sermons. they made a coloring page for their kids and they said, we are united under the Visionary Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities for there is no Authority, except that which God has established the authorities that exist have been established by God. This church is building the vision. God gave to the pastor, we will protect our unity and supporting his vision. So you know it sounds maybe it's okay, but if you think about it they're saying that one guy. Does he has a vision from God? I'm just going to believe it. I'm going to take it because we got to be Unified.

The scripture doesn't say that. The bereans were complemented for studying to going the scripture and to perceive If the message was real. So, if we were doing this test, what is the message? How is it received? We have another false prophet. So even churches can do that. So, we need to be vigilant to test the spirits to discern. We need other believers. I'm one of my book said this, my voice, which by itself sounds righteous and Orthodox, it does, right? When you hear yourself, speak in your own mind and your good, your super good. But it may sound different. When heard by other thoughtful leaders, this calls for humility and courage. That is willing to submit to the corporate voice while still retaining its passionate vision. And what that means is wormy needs to be part of the body. As iron sharpens iron or what's kind of cooler as we rocks Tumblr around together. We get smooth out, we realized me and we were predicting condemning, we were very critical, but in the body of Christ, we start to realize, maybe maybe that wasn't right. Maybe I should have phrased it differently.

thrall commanded to test the spirits just like, we're all trying to figure out if The fake is real or the real is fake, every single one of us has to do that. So we're not duped. when, you know, the real It's easy to spot the fake. Spray. God, just Thank you for your holy spirit. Thank you for giving us the ability to discern right from wrong, but I think you that we don't have to do it on her own. We wouldn't do a very good job. please open our eyes to Sees your truth in your word, open our ears to hear the truth that is spoken by others. But help us to test in to study the message to see if it was one, we should approve or not. In Jesus name, amen.

Something that is worth mentioning. I'm remember that verse

Blank who is in you is greater than blank who is in the world. What is that word? He right? It doesn't say. Donna is greater than the world. Doesn't say Kevin is greater than the world, doesn't say Ivan's, great in the world. We don't do battle on our own because greater is he, who is in us than he was in the world. And something that's comforting to me was knowing that God knows our Humanity. He knows our weaknesses, we will sometimes believe things that aren't true. But because the holy spirit is living inside, as he will continue to prick, our minds continue to call us back to what's true. And Jesus actually said, John 16:13, the spirit I give will lead you into all truth. So don't stress yourself so much. Ask God, the Holy Spirit to speak to us. And he will just be willing to listen, read his word, pray. And don't forsake. The fellowship, not because we are perfect man, we are hypocrites, a lot of times but because we were made to be together. So my last verse is 1st, John 5:20 and we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him. Who is true? And we are in him. Who is true in his son? Jesus Christ, Messiah. He is the true God. And eternal life When, you know, the real, you can spot the fake, thank you for coming. I'm glad you're here to the power outage. Hope you come back next week. Jared's going to be speaking, you're dismissed.
