Introduction.
Introduction.
(PLAY VIDEO TO INTRODUCE THE SUBJECT, “Zion”, by Aaron Shust).
The topic tonight is a great burden upon my heart, and a intense passion of mine. For much of Church history, there has been a lack of teaching upon this. There has even been an increase in ridicule by some against Christians who have this burden. That is the Regathering and Salvation of the Jewish People.
We are going to see from the Scriptures that God has promised their regathering in the Promised Land.
We are going to see from the Scriptures that God has promised their Salvation, in that they place their faith in Yeshua Hamashiach, that is Jesus the Messiah.
And finally, we are going to see from the Scriptures that God has commissioned us believers in the Church Age to reach the Jewish People with the Gospel, for as Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
Why does God favor the Jewish People in this way?
Genesis 12:1-3.
Genesis 15:18-God gave them the land.
Deuteronomy 7:6-8. God’s choice.
Deut. 32:10; Zech. 2:8. Apple of God’s Eye.
Romans 11:1-6, 29.
We are going to let statistics inform our discussion tonight.

Notice the growth patterns:
Jews in Israel.
445,000 pre-Holocaust.
7.2 Million post-Holocaust.
For the first time in 2 millennia, there are more Jews in the Promised Land than there are in the Diaspora.
This is all because the of the faithfulness of God.
Turn with me to Deuteronomy 28:58, 63-65.
Out of divine punishment for their disobedience and their unfaithfulness, God had to disperse them amongst the nations.
Romans 11:28, 29 “for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
God brings them back to the Promised Land for His Glory.
Ezekiel 36:22-24.
Deuteronomy 30:1-5.
the LORD, or Yahweh, is used to point out the Faithfulness of God here. He swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be faithful to their descendants. He even shares His name to Moses in Exodus 3:15 to indicate His faithfulness to His promises.
Isaiah 11:11-12.

Hear the heart of the Jewish person: Psalm 137. (Bring us back Joshua Aaron).
Salvation of the Jews. There is so many passages that speak to the returning the Jewish People to Promised Land that it would take the rest of our Earthly lives to study them all to their ends. I chose the two that I did because their contexts each indicate something fascinating about the Jewish People and their future salvation.
Deuteronomy 30:6. “Circumcision of the Heart” is the Jewish way to explain the regeneration of the true believer. Regeneration is what happens to every believer when they place their faith in Jesus. Their heart is remade and they are “born again”.
Notice the connection to the blessing of the land in the verses following.
Ezekiel 36:25-32. This is Ezekiel’s way of explaining regeneration and the new covenant as seen in Jeremiah 31. But we get a vivid picture of what happens in regeneration.
Again, notice the connection with the blessing of the Land. Gentile believers are not given those promises, because God has not given them that covenant.
Ezekiel 37 speaks of the Nation of Israel, or the Jewish People as a valley of dry bones.
First they are regathered—> Dead but still together.
Second they are given —> Given flesh and breath to come alive.
vv. 11-14. The land first, and then spiritual life!
Romans 11:11-36.
A Jew that believes in Jesus is a marvelous thing, and it will be all the more glorious when they all are fulfilled in Jesus! (vv. 11-16).
Fear, not arrogance, should be the heart of the believer when considering what God has done with the Jews. (vv. 17-24).
God is sovereign (vv. 25-32).
God is all-wise and therefore should be worshipped! (vv. 33-36)
There is something taking place that is unprecedented. (look back at the chart ONE for Israel).

Paul says Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
And twice, Paul says in Romans 11:11-15 to “make them jealous” (talking about the Jews).
Romans 11:11-15 “I say then, did they stumble so as to fall? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?”
This jealousy seems to be taking place in an unprecedented way, even if only in Israel.
May we pray:
That God would bring that harvest in, that His people would believe in Yeshua/Jesus as their Messiah.
That God would raise us up as PGBC, that we would be instruments in His hands to reach the Jewish People with the truth about their Messiah.
That God would bring the Jewish People home.
While it seems He does so through much hardship. (20,000 Ukrainian Jews have recently made Aliyah to Israel).
The Jewish People returning to their land, coincides with the Return of Christ, and the setting up of His Kingdom.
