God is committed to freeing the oppressed. The Bible records God's word and his work in redeeming us from our sin. Christ has set us free. In this passage we see something of the heart of God for sinners. We consider how God has secured our freedom through the suffering of Christ, and we also consider how Christ has called his people to join him in this work.
