We talked about the misuse of Biblical text.
that making water into wine was not the Main point for drinking
that cleansing the temple was not justification of whatever angers us.
We established that we need to see Jesus in
ALL THINGS not JUST the SMALL THINGS
and that we need to discern
what is a Small thing and what is a God thing in our anger.
if we look at the context of these verses you get the sense
that Jesus had a sense of KNOWING YOU
The timing, the actions, the statements
We see that Jesus is God and is ALL knowing.
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE KNOWS MORE ABOUT YOU THAN YOU REALIZE?
Today i would like to enforce and encourage in YOU that Jesus knows everything about you, and loves you with an amazing love.
Knows you completely and LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY
That TRUTH should change your life and your actions and your thinking.
Let that sink in a moment......

Your past, your present, your future
your greatest joys and successes and your biggest struggles and Failures.
Challenge Question:
What does it feel like to understand that Jesus already knows what is in your heart?
Comforting?
Scary?
Anxious?
Convicting?
Maybe write down in your notes the FIRST WORD that comes to Mind.
What does it feel like to understand that Jesus already knows what is in your heart?
Today:
These few verses can be considered a BRIDGE-
we are contemplating the side we are leaving to the side we are going
between the Signs at the Wedding with the Wine
the cleansing of the temple
and next week the conversation with Nicodemus
Remember the author John did not write with chapters and verse.
so these thoughts and recording were done in the flow of a letter.
We break it up so we can break it down
but i encourage you to read this BOOK of JOHN through in a sitting.
Discovering Jesus is the Key to our messages.
Jesus is Divine
meaning JESUS is GOD
come to earth to save SINNERS
We are Sinners, helping Sinners to find THE SAVIOR
Lets PRAY
Dear Father as we look at these 3 verses today awaken the desire in us to know you deeper
You are the GOD Of ALL
ALL is in the palm of your Hand and we seek to Glorify YOU TODAY.
May you use this lesson to Grow us so that we may Grow other.
Lets Read our Verses for today
John 2:23–25 (ESV)
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs that he was doing. 24 But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people 25 and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.
Main Point:
Jesus knows what is in your heart
Jesus knows what is in every heart
Jesus loves you and paid the FULL price for YOU
Jesus knows it ALL
Jesus knows YOU
we have spoken of this prior
BUT in this verse is the PURPOSE OF JOHN
think of a letter that you write…
it has a purpose. John gives us the Purpose of these Book.
John 20:31 (ESV)
31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
The purpose of this Book is SO THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE
it is why i believe it is a great Book to start to read with New Believers
The disciples believed
12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

This should likely wake us up or even make us feel unsettled
If you are here this morning
If you have never truly believed
Jesus knows your heart !!!
We cannot simply believe
We must have a belief that is a Saving Belief
We must be IN CHRIST ---
Let me briefly explain:
Knowing things about Jesus is not a Saving Belief
Reading about Jesus is something an Atheistic can do
Hearing about Jesus is something the World has done
Even following Him is not a Saving belief
It is when we finally come to understand that HE is our LORD
that WE commit fully to Him
We each are unique. Your path is not my path
BUT there is a PATH
WHEN ANY DOUBT IS REMOVED.
Let me encourage you after that Wake UP
JESUS FULLY AND COMPLETELY KNOWS YOUR HEART
Jesus knew John, Peter and James
JESUS knew JUDAS’s
And next week we will see that HE know Nicodemus’s heart
Jesus knows your Heart --- fully and completely
THE Best part is that He knows your HEART
and LOVES you with an IN SPITE of KIND of LOVE.
In our verses today:
Three things:
He knew all people — big general statement
He knew what was in man --- specific personal and deep
He needed no one to bear witness about any of us — HE KNOWS
Jesus knows all things about ALL people.
JESUS KNOWS who has Genuine FAITH — SAVING FAITH IN HIM
he knows where you are at, what you struggle with, and where you are grounded
and BY GOD, we will continue to move you towards HIM
PRAYER LIFE
PRAYER LIFE
This should change our prayer life, our church life and our life
For HE IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
We need to come to Him, as He already Knows, not as if you are revealing something to HIM
Most of us have someone in life that knows us.
We likely have someone in our life that deeply understands us
that person that you can go to the “UNDERSTANDS YOU”
YET they don’t know everything about you.
there will always be missing pieces
that is way you get “hurt” at times
When you feel misunderstood, or you THOUGHT THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND
your spouse, your bestie, your BFF knowledge of you is like
first grade math compared to JESUS fully understanding your QUANTUM MECHANICS
This should make us come to JESUS more!!!
— HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO TRULY KNOWS YOU
NO secrets with Jesus
No hidden spots
no misunderstanding
Jesus knows you
and that should change our PRAYER LIFE.
Let me remind you of PETER for a moment:
Do you recall Peter’s three answers to Jesus’s question after the resurrection, “Do you love me?”
Jesus asked him three times, probably because Peter had denied Jesus three times.
Peter said the first time, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.”
He said the second time, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.”
He said the third time, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you”
(John 21:15–17).
PETER KNEW THAT JESUS KNEW
There is always one person who knows your heart perfectly.
Knows it better than you do — Jesus Christ.
One Who Is Always Willing to Love You
“You always have Jesus, who is willing to love you, knowing absolutely everything about you.”
True Believers are Set Apart
True Believers are Set Apart
Jesus knows what is in ALL People
Jesus knows what is INSIDE YOU
Jesus knows all of YOU and still LOVES YOU
Jesus came to SAVE ALL
BUT it takes a SAVING FAITH in HIM to HAVE THAT PROMISE
Look at John 17:9
9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
Jesus came for
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
We are His Disciples, His Friends, His Sheep
those of us who are BORN AGAIN in JESUS CHRIST.
Are you in that Number?
When the Saints come marching in — Will you be in that Number?
The toughest part of these verses is in
John 2:24 (ESV)
24 But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people
JESUS IS NEVER GOING TO FORCE YOU TO BELIEVE
JESUS IS NEVER GOING TO FORCE YOU INTO SAVING BELIEF
Jesus never PROCLAIMED HIMSELF AS KING AND ASK US TO BOW DOWN TO HIM
HE ALREADY WAS THE KING OF KINGS AND HE WAS FULLY AWARE
Jesus poured into His Disciples
Jesus taught, encouraged, rebuked and corrected
Jesus shared HIS LIFE, and GAVE IT ALL FOR ALL
BUT Jesus knew the Evil in some hearts
JESUS knows ALL MAN
JESUS knows what is inside every man
Look at the verse 23
Many saw the signs and BELIEVED
YET JESUS knew that their hearts were not FULLY right with HIM
They were looking for SOMETHING, BUT NOT THE THING
We need to love Jesus with ALL our HEART
Jesus knows your HEART
this my Friends is GOD
Omniscient ---ALL KNOWING
Friends
JESUS knows your HEART
JESUS knows all men
JESUS loves you inspite of ALL that KNOWLEDGE
So let me ask you again
What does it feel like to understand that Jesus already knows what is in your heart?
i pray that it brings
Warmth
comfort
security
Jesus knows all --- you deepest secrets --- He knows what is in those hiding place.
Let us COME TO JESUS in a new way today.
Let us open our hearts, for He already knows
Let us take comfort in that HE alone knows us
He knows ALL the good bad and UGLY
and the BEST PART
HE LOVES US
