Understanding His Love
*John 1:4-5 Part 1*

*Introduction: *
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
\\ And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
In order to understand this text we, must first understand that God is Life, All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In God was Life and still is Life and will always be Life.
And if God is Life and Light is a form of Life and the Light was in man, than we can say truly God is in us.
In which way is God in us, for sure we are not Gods but what is it that lives in us that we Know God.
The Light that we speak of in this passage is the Holy sprit, that is present with us all the time.
Every man has light in him, The Jews had the light of law, the Gentile which is you and me have the light of hearing the Gospel and the sinner has the light of creation.
When God breath into mans nostril and gave him life the was the light of creation.
But even thought that the Jew had the light of the law they still did not understand the light of the world when he came who is called Jesus.
Even thought the Gospel is preached in almost every country in the world and people are excepting Jesus the Christ.
Even thought when God made man, he put a special kind of Love in him that when he saw the light he would know it.
But through all this we still don’t understand the Love of God.  *What is it that we don’t understand about God? it seems so easy to Love someone who Loves you.*
