Live Faith

6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Why the message

So that we may learn to put our complete trust in God.

We need to remind ourselves that everybody lives by faith. The difference is in the object of that faith. Christians put their faith in God and His Word, while unsaved people put their faith in themselves.

What the message seek to address?

James 1:2–3 ESV

2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

In this world and its systems we will always face:

Tests

Trials

Temptations

Tribulations (trouble, oppression, affliction…)

These come daily but we overcome all by Faith

No need to fight flesh and blood, just have faith

John 18:36 ESV

36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

John 16:33 ESV

33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Don’t live for what the world will promise you today! Live for what God has promised you in the future! Be a stranger and a pilgrim on this earth! Walk by faith, not by sight!

Faith is builded by hearing, learning and overcomes anything

2 Peter 2:20 (ESV)

20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.

Romans 10:17 ESV

17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

By this faith we overcome test, trials, temptations, tribulations DAILY.

5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Acts 4:29–31 ESV
