Not a whole lot to talk about. It's a whole lot to pray about it. I'm telling you. Are out tonight. We're going to take some request, if you have any mom's dad, 1912 before he was born. Just like two months before the Titanic sank. Has a while ago, wasn't? If you take your mom wasn't with me too. One of the most, if not the most wealth, not the most but one of the most familiar, Psalms Psalm 100. Probably the most familiar Psalm is Psalm 23. Some 100 is. Very familiar song.

He says in Psalm 100 verse 1, Make a Joyful, Shout to the Lord, All, Ye Lands serve the Lord with gladness come before his presence with singing and know that the Lord he is God. It is he who has made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the Sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and bless his name for the Lord is good. His Mercy is Everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations. Let's pray Our Father God that you will thank you Lord for this beautiful day that you've given us. We thank you Father for this opportunity to come and Lord already just a just a time of seeing these, these dear old songs. The tell us the truth of who you are reminded Lord of your goodness to us. Father thank you Lord for these that are here. I thought I pray that you adjust Bless us. Lord through your word god remind us tonight of your goodness of your grace was thin would motivate us to worship you and praise you. Lord for you are certainly worthy. Lord I pray that you be with us as we enter into a time of prayer and just a moment more help us to pray fervently. We ask all these things in Christ name amen. Over the many years of my Ministry, I have noticed all kinds of things being brought in to the sanctuary. I bring being brought in by the folks are listening to the sermon. I've seen folks who will come in with a nail file. Are even nail clippers. I could hear. I didn't find the nail clippings on the, on the pews. I have had people bring in headphones. That's not a good sign and listening to him. I have seen people bring and people still bring pillows. That's also not a great sign either but pillows blankets and so forth. I've seen animals brought in for maybe those Recall those dogs that are service dogs and so forth. But I want to briefly tonight, just talk to you about some things that every believer ought to bring to church every time we worship the Lord on a Sunday. the first thing work to bring, Is a right Spirit to bring a right spirit and that's really what he's talkin about. A verse one is his Make a Joyful shout unto the Lord tells us that were joyful there. The word that means to give a public confession to the attributes attributes and works of God and nature of God. And so we're joyfully give a public confession, a public declaration.

Of who the Lord is. Why we are to serve him and praise him. We see that joyful shout their verse 1, the the word shout refers to a ringing cry. It is a cry of a victory that has been won. And so this shout here is just an example of how enthusiastic we ought to be when we enter into a time of worship. Because we have Victory, not because of what we have done but because of what Christ has done. And so we can see that the psalmist is calling on the people, the Lord really to raise is an Anthem of phrase from the hearts to the Lord. And in reality, this is a challenge and even a command that we are to participate in the public, praise And worship. This is the call for every believer. Make a Joyful Noise are joyful. Shout to the Lord. Psalm 40. and verse one, if you want to turn their Psalm, 40, Inverse 1. Keep your spot there. In Psalm 100. but it tells us there in Psalm 40, what the Lord did for us when he saved us and why we ought to come into his house joyfully Psalm 40, in verse number one.

The psalmist said, I wait, I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me, and he heard My Cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit out of the Miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my steps. Just put a new song in my mouth. Praise is to our God, many will see it, and fear and I will trust in the Lord. And so these verses here Talus that he puts a new song in our mouths, it's a word of singing. To the Lord who has sought us, we are to sing unto the Lord who has bought us where the singing to the Lord, who has brought us out. We were in the Maori pits. That is a pet that is so slick and so muddy that. There's no way that the person can climb out themselves. Somebody has to come down and rescue was a mess with the song as a saying here. This is why we are to make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord. Verse two, towels. That we are to serve the Lord which I serve the Lord. that works serve means to be in bondage to It refers to doing whatever the master tells a slave to do. It means to be at his beck and call.

Lovelace. And we know that the Bible tells us the 1st Corinthians 6:20, that when we got saved, We became property of God, we are gone. We are his we are. Willful slaves. Were will first will for Servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. He purchased us see you redeemed us. Therefore we are to do what he tells us to do. Without question. We are to do, whatever he tells us to do without hesitation and we noticed a to that, when we do serve him, we do not serve him unwillingly, we do not serve him weeping and wailing. Noah serve him with what, what is the scripture say with gladness gladness? What is serve him with gladness. This word means Gladness, that is a company with laughter. This is over Joy gladness. This Italian, is it weird to serve the Lord with laughter, where to be. So filled with love for him. That regardless of what he asked us to do, we are thrilled to do it.

You think about the psalmist? This is what he said and Psalm 122 verse 1. He said yeah, I was glad same Hebrew word. I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. So as we come to the Lord and serve him, we come with a spirit of delight. We come with a spirit of gladness, not one that we are morning or weeping, we come ready to serve our King because of what he has done for us. and then, It says the first to come or Scooby serve the Lord with gladness come before his presence with singing. So I told you approach the Lord, our god with singing lifting our souls into the Lord through song. As we have done, already is a tremendous way to bless his name, lifting our voices in song as a tremendous way to exalt him. But unfortunately, it seems as if that public singing in the sanctuary in many churches is becoming a dying thing and we need to resurrect this. We need to bring this back because Christians are commanded to sing, we're commanded as they were challenged to sing. Singing to the Lord is a great way to encourage yourself in the Lord. Singing in singing to the Lord in public worship is a great way to encourage others in the Lord.

so, I Godly Godly singing heart. Usually come from a heart that has great faith or joy. Every Christian ought to possess a song in their soul for the forgiveness and pardon they have in Christ Jesus. And every Christian artist sang because every Christian has got a song to sing. The Lord has put a song in our mouths. Some 40,000 has So, our heart should be so filled with the Wonder of who he is and what he has done for us. That we will allow his praises to burst forth. from our very inner being, It's not about singing on Pitch, is not about singing professionally or having some type of a great voice. It's about singing from the heart. Singing loud.

So that even others who may not know, the Lord are even others who are discouraged through life. Can hear you, sing? And that is a way that we can encourage one another.

So what'd you bring the right spirit? Or to bring to church every Sunday or to bring the right submission. Bring the right submission. Verse 3 tells us

know that the Lord he is God. So we're just submit as we see here in verse 32, the person of God which is to submit to the person of God were told to know. We're to know that the Lord is God that word means to make a distinction. The have knowledge that he is Lord. He is God, it's a weird to know that he and he alone is God. So, we could say that our worship. Is intelligent. Our worship of God is to be informed worship. That is. We often know whom we worship, right? We ought to know why we worship. We even want to know how we are to worship. Hebrews chapter. 12 tells us that we are to Worship the Lord in Godly fear and reverence. We're not to take it lightly that way when we come into God's presence that we're coming into the Thrice holy God therefore we ought to come before him with Godly fear and reverence.

Submitting to the person of God, we've been no.

That the Lord he is God. We have as Believers been given the gift of understanding. First John 5:21 tosses. We know that Jesus is the Messiah and it's more than just a head. Knowledge has a heart knowledge. That is lived out in our life. Notice were to submit to the purpose of God. We are to submit to the purpose of God. Verse 3 again know that the Lord he is God. It is he who has made us and not we ourselves. So we are reminded that we are what we are because he made us.

Shall not the creature. Reverence his maker. Absolutely.

So understanding and knowing that God is our creator. This is so important. Because understanding and knowing that God is our creator makes us accountable to him. It is, he who made us and not we ourselves. And this is one of the greatest things that's plaguing our nation that the enemy knows that it is in his trick Generations. Now, to thinking that we have no Creator, we just came to be by some Big Bang Theory and then just evolutionize our way to this point, But if you don't have a Creator, if you don't have any accountability who made you, that's that's the reason why we see such seeing today. And there was no lack of us. There is such a lack of authority, because They're told for Generations now that they are just an accident of evolution.

Not told. That we are his wonderful creation. So, we're to submit to the purpose of God.

Did they notice a 3rd verse 3? Submit to the promise of God? So getting verse 3 know that the Lord he is God. It is he who has made us. And not we ourselves. We are his people. And the Sheep of his pasture. That is a precious statement right there. They think that we are his people. We are his sheep. This reminds us that we belong to him. We are gods. And just as a Shepherd looks after the welfare of his sheep. So our Lord and a bunch of grandeur and greater wake looks after us with an infinite, infinite care.

He is a sheep. We are the Sheep of his pasture and course, David had this nailed down in his own life, right? You read Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd.

David had this nailed down in his life and you, and I need to nail this down in our lives, to be reminded of what it means that we can say. The Lord is my shepherd,

If we could ever grasp at truth, it would transform us. And we are his people. That we are his sheep, he takes care of us, he loves us. More than what we could ever ever know on this side of Heaven. Where to bring the right Spirit where to bring the right submission noticed early, we can bring the right sacrifice. Where to bring the right sacrifice in the Tabernacle in Temple days, the priest had better, not enter the presence of the Lord without having the right sacrifice because to do so, would mean death for the priest? But thank God. We do not have to offer any more, a blood sacrifice. I turn to Hebrews chapter 10 Hebrews chapter 10.

we do not have to offer a blood sacrifice because Jesus Christ has already taken care of that forever, Hebrews 10 and verse number 10,

Hebrews 10 verse 10, says by that, we will have been Sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ. Let me read that again. By that, we will have been Sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all Christ Dash, perfect. Perfect.

Nevermind, my goodness. I'm reading the

Next subject line verse 11 and every priest stands, ministering daily and offering repeatedly. The same sacrifices, which can never take away sin. But this man, speaking of Jesus, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. From that time waiting till his enemies enemies are made his footstool for by one offering. He hath perfected forever. Those who are being Sanctified the what's the keyword? We see in this texture as the word one Once once once, and for all it is the emphasis there on those in those verses that there is a sacrifice that has been paid for once. And for all unlike the Old Testament, sacrifices that had to be repeated over and over again, Christ has taken care of it. On the cross. And because of Christ's sacrifice, there's just one sacrifice at the Lord expects, every saint to bring to church. When they come in that scene and verse number for There were told to bring the sacrifice of praise notice and Psalm 104.

It says, enter his gates with Thanksgiving and enter his courts with praise, be thankful unto him and bless his name. So he tells us that we enter into his Gates. Those gates are defensive weapons. And they're usually closed to all Outsiders, but through the blood of Jesus Christ, listen we are no longer enemies of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. We are now considered his children, his son, So now we can because of what Jesus done, enter into those Gates. Those Gates were what were once closed are now open wide and to us. And in those Gates, we can bring him the sacrifice of praise for our salvation. We are invited to enter his courts with praise. Scripture tells us,

Notice that we are not just allowed access to the outer limits of the sanctuary as in the Old Testament, but we are invited to walk into the throne room and we can meet him and all of his glory to the presence of prayer and notice verse 5 gives us three reasons for praising him. Number one, we can Praise Him for being good. Praise God for his goodness, verse five houses for the Lord is good. The Lord is good. The word good. Their means Pleasant. It can mean beautiful delightful precious righteous. The Lord is good. Everything God does is an expression of his goodness. Everything. So we can praise our God to cause he is good. Regardless of what happens in life. God is good. No matter how things turn out, God is still good. So, we should praise him for his goodness. We should praise him. Also, for his grace, And this particular Grace that the song has mentioned mentions, here is manifested by God's mercy noticed. Verse 5, for the Lord is good, his Mercy is Everlasting so we can praise God because he is constantly constantly extending his Mercy to us as we go through life. We don't have to wake up in the morning and and wonder I wonder if God's going to be merciful to me today. No, we wake up. Knowing the scripture is correct that his mercies are new. Every morning. Every day that God gives us life, he gives us new mercies new. Mercies That's you. No mercy. Is defined as not getting. What you deserve not getting what you deserve.

I'll listen, we are thankful that. The Lord's Mercy is not just something that has an expiration date on it. His Mercy is Everlasting. Here in the present and even into eternity future. So where the praise for his, praise God, for his goodness and his grace through his manifestation of his mercy, and then praise God, for his Guaranty versus guarantee. Well, verse five, that his truth endureth to all generations is truth and doors to all generation simply stated by the years pile up and why the years go on, not a single promise of God's word will ever fail. Not a single promise of God's word will fail. What he has promised will be good in 10,000 years as it was the instant that he promised it. So think about that his truth endureth forever. Think about the true that he loves us with an everlasting. Love that truth is going to endure forever and ever. How about the true that he's going to take care of us? That truth is going to endure forever and ever, the truth in Christ one day is going to come again. That's a promise that is a truth and one day that will be fulfilled. Until we have many things to praise the Lord for as we think about coming to church on Sunday, there are some things we ought to bring to church and is having a right Spirit having a rights submission, knowing who God is and bowing down before that. And then as we saw thirdly, they're bringing the right sacrifice. Sacrifice of praise. Tomorrow, we will go ahead and take some prayer requests. And most of you saw that Dylan is at home.
