Theme: We all need the presence of God. In this passage, Moses is desperate in his prayer, he is praying to God for his people because he knows that without God’s presence the people will be destroyed. For Moses was important that everyone in the nation found peace in God. Today, we too become similar to Moses, we ask for God’s peace for all the people, waiting for the return of Christ. The peace that God gives to us is peace that He gives of Himself, it’s His personal presence.
