How To Revive My Prayer Life

What God Expects Of My Prayer Life

Romans 12:12 persevere in prayer—1 Corinthians 7:2 Abstain from martial relations only to devote yourselves to prayer—Ephesians 6:18 Pray in the Spirit at all times—Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it—1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing—1 Timothy 5:5 the real widow, left alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day—Revelation 5:8 golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Why Do We Fail To Pray?

1) Its Too Unnatural, 2) We Get Too Comfortable, 3) We Get Too Busy, 4) We Give Up Too Soon

How Do I Revive My Prayer Life?

7 I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. 8 I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure. 10 For you do not give me up to Sheol, or let your faithful one see the Pit. 11 You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalms 16:7-11

When I Make It A Part of My [DAILY ROUTINE] !

1 Give ear to my words, O Lord; give heed to my sighing. 2 Listen to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray. 3 O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch. Psalms 5:1-3

When I [Reduce] My [RPM’s] !

Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices. Psalms 37:7

10 “Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalms 46:10-11

16 But I call upon God, and the Lord will save me. 17 Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he will hear my voice. Psalms 55:16-17

When I [RENOUNCE] My [SIN] !

1Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Happy are those to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3 While I kept silence, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Selah 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah 6 Therefore let all who are faithful offer prayer to you; at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach them. Psalms 32:1-6
