I. Sinners are urged to seek the Lord. (Isaiah 55:6-7)

            A. Sinners should seek the Lord before it is too late. (Isa. 55:6)

                        1. Seek the Lord while He may be found (Isa. 55:6) 

                        2. Call upon the Lord while He is near.

                        3. Today sinners need to seek the Lord before it is too late. [Application]

            B. Sinners should renounce their lifestyles. (Isa. 55:7)

                        1. Let the wicked forsake his way (Isa. 55:7) 

                        2. [Let] the unrighteous man [forsake] his thoughts

                        3. Today sinners need to repent. [Application]

                                    a. Sinners need to renounce their ways.

                                    b. Sinners need to renounce their plans.

II. God gives grace to sinners who return. (Isaiah 55:7)

            A. God will impart mercy on sinners who return to Him

                        1. Let him return to the Lord

                        2. God will have mercy on him

                        3. The Lord will be merciful to repentant sinners. [Application]

            B. God will freely forgive sinners who return to Him.

                        1. Let [him return] to our God

                        2. God will abundantly pardon.

                        3. God promises mercy and forgiveness to those who return. [Application]
