Theme: The people that society ignores are the people that God brings to the center of His story. The women that went to Jesus’s tomb are concerned with the things of the dead, but the resurrection of Jesus demands that we be concerned with the things of life and the living God. Once we see the resurrection with eyes of faith, we simply can not view our world as ordinary. The resurrection calls us to make Jesus Christ our ultimate love and our chief affection of our hearts.
