Ice Breaker
When dealing with the gates, the soul gate is probably one of the most challenging areas. What do you know about the soul? Many believe the soul and God’s Spirit are the same thing. They are actually separate in nature and entity. The soul and the Spirit must coexist in our bodies. The soul is the immaterial parts of you: your mind, emotions, will, etc.
Soul ties are really emotional, they have absolutely nothing to do with your actual soul, with that said we will be talking about the clash of our soul versus Holy Spirit and how when we aren’t properly aligned how it can totally alter our view and values of what true relationship is and should be as Christians.
Uncontrolled emotions to the undisciplined can be perceived as love, thus making the irrational interpretation this is someone whom I can never disconnect from because we are joint deeper than just an emotional. The reality is that your emotions are unharnessed and must be made covered up.
Titus 2:12 (M:BCL)
We’re being shown how to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent life, and how to take on a God-filled, God-honoring life. This new life is starting right now,
Emotions what does the Word of God say regarding our emotions?
Philippians 4:6–7 (M:BCL)
6 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. 7 Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

EMOTICON

So this means that I know you are excited about this “shiny new toy” of a relationship, but take your times so that you know that it isn’t your emotions that is leading you to move forward with these situations at warp speed.
It is so important to learn these people so that you know that with the time spent it not so casual that you don’t allow Holy Spirit to show you what you need to see regarding some things that could potentially be harmful.
It is important for us to have emotional conferences with ourselves. Check our emotions. Are these emotion coming from a pure place? The bible gives us great instructions on how to keep the soul healthy Phil 4:8
Philippians 4:8 M:BCL
8 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
Now do you see how it is important to have a soul in right standing? It is hard to withstand an attractive toxic relationship if your soul is not matured in how it should conduct itself interacting with your individual matters as well as those that involve others.
Our emotions have to be in tact so that we are not tailspinning out of control because a wrench was thrown into the relationship and now because emotionally you prematurely threw yourself into this relationship without finding out:
Their:
Relationship with God
Relationship with their parents
Relationship with themselves (how well they take care of themselves?)
We can never think,” Oh it’s too early to be thinking about that?” Let’s think about this though physical gets involved before the foundational things in most cases, why?
They look appealing for the eye....
It’s been a while.....
I can really see them in my future....(If you can without asking the first three questions we have bigger problems....)
Many times we have made determinations based off of one encounter a few phone call or text interactions and that would pretty much sum it up.....
We have to stop running into relationship minefields and thinking that they are amusement parks.... we have to get tired of always having to pick up the pieces after these situations blow up in our faces.

Will....Power-LESS

Our will should be submitted to God, first and foremost, but instead with weak emotions it now results in absent will power to resist the necessary things.
Matthew 26:41 M:BCL
41 Stay alert; be in prayer so you don’t wander into temptation without even knowing you’re in danger. There is a part of you that is eager, ready for anything in God. But there’s another part that’s as lazy as an old dog sleeping by the fire.”
Here is one of the greatest things to remember
1 Peter 5:8 M:BCL
8 Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping.
We have go be sober with these relationships it is so important to gauge these situations with the leading of Holy Spirit.
Command your soul to be still and understand the benefits of knowing who your God is with you in those moments
Psalm 103 M:BCL
1 O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name! 2 O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing! 3 He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one. 4 He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. 5 He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence. 6 God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet. 7 He showed Moses how he went about his work, opened up his plans to all Israel. 8 God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. 9 He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. 10 He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. 11 As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. 12 And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. 13 As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear him. 14 He knows us inside and out, keeps in mind that we’re made of mud. 15 Men and women don’t live very long; like wildflowers they spring up and blossom, 16 But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly, leaving nothing to show they were here. 17 God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, Making everything right for them and their children 18 as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said. 19 God has set his throne in heaven; he rules over us all. He’s the King! 20 So bless God, you angels, ready and able to fly at his bidding, quick to hear and do what he says. 21 Bless God, all you armies of angels, alert to respond to whatever he wills. 22 Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are— everything and everyone made by God. And you, O my soul, bless God!
So in that I say give yourself the the grace with these poor decisions because God has given us grace for all of our infirmities and iniquities when making poor decisions with these relationships.
