Proverbs 26:13-16 - Laziness/Diligence

The Shame of Laziness

26:13-16 shows us a picture of shameful, self-centered laziness.

Our laziness will lead to unmet needs and unsatisfied cravings.

Our laziness will also have a terrible effect on others.

Blessing of Diligence

Diligence shows a drive to completely fulfill responsibilities.

Diligence brings us fulfillment and growth.

Our diligence will benefit others as well.

Living Diligently

When we have responsibilities, we must give them all we have.

Jesus lived a perfectly diligent life.

In the fear of the Lord, we know we have a worthwhile mission in life.
