The Mind

The mind is an aspect of intelligence and consciousness manifested as combinations of thoughts, perceptions, memories, emotions, desirous and determinate wills and imaginations.

It is the stream of consciousness within a being.

It can be opened to understand, Luke 24:45

And He opened their understanding (νοῦν), that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

Rejecting God results in a debased mind, Romans 1:28

And just as they did not approve worthy to have the God in full experiential knowledge, the God gave them over to an unapproved mind to do what is wrong,

A Christian has a war going on against the law of the mind by which they serve God, Romans 7:23

The Spiritual gift of speaking in tongues was not fruitful to the mind of the speaker, 1 Corinthians 14:14

The Working of the Mind

We are no ignorant concerning how Satan’s mind works, 2 Corinthians 2:11

The blinding of the working of the mind by the law, 2 Corinthians 3:14

Blinding the working of the mind to the gospel, 2 Corinthians 4:4

The workings of the mind being corrupted from the simplicity that is in the Christ, 2 Corinthians 11:3

The Old Mind

The old mind is a mind of futility, Ephesians 4:17

The old mind puffs a person up, Colossians 2:18

The old mind is corrupt, 1 Timothy 6:5

The old mind resists the truth, 2 Timothy 3:8

The old mind is defiled, Titus 1:15

Corrupt teachers, not understanding (having a mind) concerning what they teach, 1 Timothy 1:7

The desirous will and the thoughts of the mind, Ephesians 2:3

The darkening of the thoughts of the mind, Ephesians 4:18

Alienated in the thoughts, Colossians 1:21

The Renewed Mind

Being Transformation by the Renewed Mind, Romans 12:2

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

And stop being outwardly conformed to this age, but to be transformed by your renewed mind, for the purpose to test for approval what is the desirous will of God, the good and well pleasing and mature.

We have a quality of the mind of Christ, 1 Corinthians 2:16

Having the same mind as others in the Assembly, 1 Corinthians 1:10

No Divisions - Divisions come from a carnal mind

Being joined together

The mind involves our spirit, Ephesians 4:23

The peace from God which surpasses the mind guards the workings of our minds, Philippians 4:7

The workings of the mind can be brought into captivity unto obedience to Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5

Knowing the mind concerning the Mystery of the Christ, Ephesians 3:4

The opening of the mind, Ephesians 1:18

Protecting the thoughts, 1 Peter 1:13

We have thoughts that allow us to know God, 1 John 5:20

A mind framed on the flesh produces corruption

A mind framed on the Spirit produces life

We are to be transformed by the renewed of our mind we gain in salvation
