1, Give Without Expecting Anything In Return

“All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing.”

- Proverbs 21:26

The first way that we can love our spouse is doing those little things that we all know mattered to one another.

We give up our time to serve each other.

Men instead of coming home from work and just plopping down on the sofa we could help do the dishes after the meal or fold a load of laundry.

When we help do what they may normally do we are showing our love by giving.

2. Trust your Spouse Without Wavering

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

– 1 Corinthians 13:7

Let your spouse know that you trust their decisions, do second guess what they are doing, but instead jump in and support them.

Let your spouse know that you Have faith in them.

This shows them love.

3. Forgive your Spouse Without Punishing.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.

Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Its not hard for any of us to remember that we are married to an imperfect sinner, and yet it seems very easy to forget that we are also an imperfect sinner.

In order for each of us to love one another we must be willing to forgive each other fully without wanting to punishing each other for what they have done.

And they will never stop talking until everyone knows they are right.

When you are having a conversation with your spouse on a topic that you do not necessarily agree, answer one another understanding and kindness.

Do not raise your voice or get upset with each other.

Instead walk through your issues in a loving way that preferences your spouse.

When you make a promise to your spouse, it should be your number one priority in your relationship to keep that promise.

Idk you say you will be home at 5 from work than make sure you are home at 5 from work.

If you say you will have the kitchen clean than clean clean the kitchen, the list of promises we make one another in our relationships can go on and On.

A loving spouse is trustworthy- they Do the things that you say they will do.

8. Speak to One another without Accusing

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,” – James 1:19

When you get upset with one another , do not act out of anger.

Take a deep breath and a step back.

Speak kindly to each other and do not accuse one another of wrong doing.

When we love one another we choose to Resolve the issue in a peaceful way.

9. Pray for your Spouse

“Confess your sins to one another and Pray for One another ” – James 5:16

One of the most loving things you can do for your spouse is to pray for them.

Pray for Gods Healing, pray for Gods protection, Pray for Gods Correction, And pray that they will grow in their own walk with Jesus,

One of the best ways for you to love your spouse is to Enjoy your life together- Have fun as a couple.

Do the things you love to do as a couple Because god gave them to you as a blessing in your life.
